"The Barn", A Cozy, Authentic Western Experience

“The Barn” at M&M Ranch boasts a beautiful location in the heart of the Alberta foothills. Located only 13km from the picturesque Hamlet of Bragg Creek, you are in the middle of prime recreation country, yet less than an hour from downtown Calgary. This is not your grandpa's “barn.” Our guest lodge is positioned over the top of our barn, but provides you with a clean, comfortable and well appointed space. "The Barn” is the ultimate getaway for those who crave the tranquility and quiet of nature. The space "The Barn" offers a truly unique space in a beautiful setting for your weekend getaway, ski trip, or family reunion! The heart of the guest quarters is a large, bright communal space where you can socialize, eat, cook, listen to stories or just enjoy the view over the horse pasture. A spacious great room with a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, large dining area, and cozy seating space makes this one-of-a-kind spot perfect for family gatherings, get-togethers, or those who just need a break from city life. This space combines an authentic “Western” feel, with a beautiful and simple design. Maximum occupancy is 8 people including children. There are numerous opportunities to explore in our area! “The Barn” is nestled among 520 acres of gorgeous and pristine forest and meadows amidst the foothills. In the evening, take a short walk to our beautiful lake in which you can take out a canoe for a sunset paddle. Cozy around a fire in the fire pit in our large yard. Choose amongst various hiking trails right on our property and look for resident moose and deer hiding in the willows. And of course, book a horse trail ride with us and get to see the area in one of the most incredible ways we know! In the winter, snowshoe through the shimmering powder and frosty aspen forests or get your adrenaline going and warm up with some cross country skiing.
