The TinyBarn at Covenant Woodlands is a lofted 350 sq ft glamping cottage in the piney woods of AL. Made with love from locally reclaimed upcycled materials. Equipped with modern appliances that fit the nostalgic cabin vibe: an electric wood burning stove and red retro kitchen appliances complimented by bear & moose accent decor. It’s cozy, but with everything you need for a getaway. Outside you’ll find rockers, a fire pit/outdoor dining area plus a hammock and bench. Insta: @CWglampingInAL The space HIGH-SPEED FIBER OPTIC INTERNET. DISCOUNTS FOR 3 OR MORE NIGHTS, 2ND VISIT. FLEXIBLE CANCELLATION OR GET 10% off the nightly rate if you opt for non-refundable. Please DO NOT USE INSTANT BOOKING if you wish to bring a pet, you are under 25, or you are local (within an hour’s drive). Please go to the House Rules section and read (including the pet policy requirements for those planning to bring one) and then message me regarding your request. Please note that a picture ID for the guest booking is required as well full names and vehicle descriptions of all registered guests and vehicles. The Tiny Barn at Covenant Woodlands is the first Tiny Glamping Airbnb to go live on the 10 acre property. The 2nd one is now live, but is not visible from the TinyBarn. There is also a Tiny Farm with a fenced pasture that currently has hens and a rooster and eventually will have rabbits and goats as well. You are welcome to walk around the pasture or on the walking trails, but please do not disturb or enter the cottage under construction. A two hour drive from Atlanta and a 30 min-1hr drive from Talladega or Birmingham, Covenant Woodlands is the perfect driving distance for a short getaway. We are less than a 15 min drive from 1-20 and a scenic 17 min drive from HWY-280. We are among the closest airbnbs to Barber Motorsports Park (~20 min drive). Once you are here there is so much to do! We are less than 20 mins from Logan Martin Lake public lake beach, and 15-45 mins drive from a host of other activities including berry picking, horseback riding, petting zoo, hiking/mountain bike riding (Mt. Cheaha, Horse Pen 40, Oak Mtn, etc.), Talladega Speedway and Barber Motorsports. Please check my guidebook for additional activities including local restaurants, shopping and rainy day activities. Parking for two cars (+) is completely private next to the Tiny Barn. So if you are traveling with a packed car, motorcycles or a boat this is an ideal spot. We are 12 mins from the nearest public boat launch on Logan Martin. Fiber optic high speed internet is finally available and installed. So, the TinyBarn is now also a great place to work remotely. While this listing now accommodates four, it is a Tiny House. So, please expect close quarters with four. For our registered and approved doggie guests: * In one of the galvanized tubs you will find a floor mat, a dog towel, a roll up camping dog bed for the porch or inside, dog blanket & dog wipes (for dirty paws). *A hose is located on the left side of the tiny barn that hooks up to a water spout on the porch behind the rockers. Please use this if needed to clean your dog (or your muddy shoes) off. PLEASE NOTE that the guest who books is responsible for any damage done by a dog or human guests. Anyone bringing an unauthorized pet, allows their pet to pee in the TinyBarn or smokes inside the TinyBarn will be subject to a $250 minimum cleaning fee and/or asked to leave the property immediately due to violation of policies/house rules. WINTER STAYS- if an unusual deep freeze is forecasted for your stay expected to freeze our pipes, please note that we may have to turn the water off for the TinyBarn for all or a portion of your stay. A cooler of water will be provided in this instance. And water will be turned back on as soon as the temp rises. Book with a flexible cancellation policy with no discount if you would like the ability to cancel anytime. This is an inexpensive listing and I am only able to keep it that way due to guest cooperation and compliance with house rules and any seasonal special instructions that arise due to weather, etc. I do everything in my power to ensure that each and every guest has a peaceful and wonderful 5 star stay. This is only possible if all of my guests respect the policies put in place to preserve and protect Covenant Woodlands. Guest access The Tiny Barn is a half a mile from the main house nestled in the piney woods. So, guests will have complete privacy during their stay. Guests are welcome to hike the old ATV trails and see the future glamping sites and enjoy the woods and creek, or walk the parameter of the pasture and watch the chickens. There are survey markers denoting the property lines. You are welcome to bring mountain bikes and bike anywhere on the property. There are also some excellent nearby mountain biking and hiking spots noted in my Guidebook. Guest access to the Tiny Barn is via a code. It is self check-in between 3pm and 10pm on your arrival day. It is highly recommended to arrive before dark as navigating the property may be challenging for first time guests. Please let me know your ETA- in case you need assistance en route. Early check and late check-out are sometimes available and may be arranged in advance for a fee. Other things to note Cell signal is spotty all over the area, especially right after a rain. AT&T and Verizon perform best topping out at 2-3 bars on good weather days. Screen shot directions in case you lose GPS and do your best to arrive before dark for check-in. A few adult guests have found the ladder to the sleeping loft uncomfortable on their feet. There is a luxury futon with a spring mattress downstairs or we suggest you bring house shoes that you can easily slip on and off from the loft. A basket is provided to keep house shoes out of the way in the loft. Fiber optic internet was just installed March 2024. Please make sure your cell phone is set to wifi calling for your phone to work properly in the house. DVDs, books and records and coloring supplies are provided as indoor analog entertainment options. I encourage YOU to unplug while you are here. Spend some time around the fire, make s’mores, have a picnic outside, bird watch, walk the trails on the property, enjoy the visible constellations on clear nights and the sound of a full creek after a rain.
