Bedrooms 4 and 5 are underground in what in the old days would have been the servant quarters. You have access to everything. It is your own private home for your stay. House manager Salvador is a native of San Miguel. I have worked with him for 15 years, and he runs the home along with Lupe, who is amazing. See the reviews of the home and you will see the house staff is most often cited as the greatest attribute of the home. The neighborhood is a mix of American expats and Mexican families who have lived there for generations. We chose this location over others in San Miguel because of its authentic feel. It's a lively neighborhood full of roosters, goats, music, fireworks and fiestas. For getting around San Miguel, walking is always best. Wonderful surprises greet you at every corner. When tired of walking, taxi rides anywhere in town are only a couple of dollars. Parking at the very close lot is 800 pesos per day. No partying or loud noise after 10PM. Our neighbors on both sides have small children. In terms of parking... Our garage is small and will only fit a motorcycle or ATV. Street parking often available or a parking center one block away. As of January 2019, the parking center charges 240 pesos per day or 800 pesos per week.
