With cozy cabins, riverfront access, a peaceful pond, wide-open field, and trails through the pines, this one-of-a-kind retreat is perfect for nature lovers, group getaways, and those seeking rustic comfort with modern touches. 🌲 Tucked away in the backwoods down a private dirt road, you’ll discover four cozy cabins, one spacious main cabin, and a bathhouse. Enjoy private access to half a mile of the Grasse River—on most days, you can hear its soothing flow right from camp. Bring your fly fishing or spinning rods, enjoy a riverside picnic, or simply relax along the shoreline. A wide-open field sits beside the cabins, with a nearby pond and private trails waiting to be explored! | THE CABINS | Main Cabin: A spacious and comfortable hub for your group, the main cabin features: • 🛋️ A cozy living room • 🍳 Full kitchen with dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, coffee maker & toaster • 🧺 Laundry room with washer and dryer • 🛏️ Three bedrooms: 2 king beds, 1 queen bed (2 rooms with closets) • 🛁 Two full bathrooms: stand-up showers + one large soaking tub (one en-suite) • 📶 Wi-Fi and 📺 one Smart TV for streaming ⚠️ Note: The main cabin is not heated. Space heaters are provided during cooler months (spring/fall). Small Cabins: Four rustic log cabins are tucked under tall pine trees and spaced for privacy. It’s a peaceful, scenic spot stocked with brown trout, native brook trout, smallmouth bass, and rock bass—perfect for anglers and nature lovers alike. 🧺 Follow the trails from the campground to the riverbank, where you can picnic, fish, or simply unwind by the water. Please note: Swimming is at guests’ own risk. The river’s current varies by season and rainfall. You’ll find both calm and fast-moving areas along the banks. THE POND 🛶 A private trail leads to a peaceful, tucked-away pond—perfect for exploring by canoe or kayak. You’ll also find a few small channels that connect to other trails on the property, making it great for a quiet paddle and some discovery. While several neighboring properties technically have access to the pond, it remains incredibly quiet—we’ve rarely seen anyone else there. Note: The pond is not intended for swimming. THE TRAILS 🥾 The property features multiple private trails that wind through the woods, lead to the river, and connect to the pond. If you love being outdoors, these trails are perfect for walking, running, or biking. They’re wide, well-groomed, and peaceful. 🪑 Adirondack chairs are placed at scenic points along the way for you to relax and soak it all in. THE FIELD 🔥 A large open field sits beside the smaller cabins, offering a perfect space for gathering and outdoor play. 🪵 Adirondack chairs circle a spacious fire pit—perfect for sharing stories, roasting s’mores, and stargazing under the clear Adirondack skies. Other things to note OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE • This is a private property—guests should expect a peaceful, back-to-nature experience. While the cabins offer modern touches like Wi-Fi and Roku TVs, the overall setting is intentionally unplugged and off-grid in feel. • The property includes wooded areas, wildlife, uneven terrain, and seasonal insects (especially black flies in spring/early summer). Please pack accordingly and use caution when exploring off-trail. • There is no daily housekeeping. Guests are expected to leave the property in good condition and follow all check-out procedures provided in the digital guide. • Water is well water and safe to drink, though you may wish to bring bottled water for convenience or preference. • A bathhouse with separate men’s and women’s facilities is provided for the small cabins and tent campers.
