Small chalet of 90 m2 recently renovated, located in Les Cerniers at 1300 m altitude but easily accessible by car (20 min from Monthey) and even by bus. Bus stop 200 m away. Breathtaking views of the mountains and even Lake Geneva in the distance, peaceful place. The space - Open kitchen with terrace and balcony access. Kitchen equipped with oven, fridge, induction cooktop, cooking utensils, dishes, kettle, dishwasher, etc. - 1 entrance/workshop - 1 mezzanine bedroom with 2 double beds (1 of 160 cm and 1 of 140 cm) and plenty of storage. - 1 second bedroom with sofa bed (140 cm) - 1 bathroom with shower and toilet. - Terrace and adjoining garden with BBQ and brazier. - Parking is available on the side of the road in front of the chalet (below) depending on snow, or otherwise in the large parking lot 200 m below. - Linens and towels provided. Regarding heating, the chalet is heated by a pellet stove located in the entrance and which is sufficient to heat the whole house. If your rental lasts more than 2 days, you will be obliged to vacuum the ashes from the stove (using a vacuum cleaner made available) and fill the pellets in the top part. An ignition program is pre-recorded to turn on and off automatically. But the stove can be manually lit between 2 schedules if needed. A notice will be made available, and we can of course decide together on the lighting times. Guest access Located in Les Cerniers at an altitude of 1300 m but easily accessible by car (20 min from Monthey) and even by bus (no. 63). Bus stop is 200 m from the chalet. Parking is available on the side of the road in front of the chalet (below) depending on snow, or otherwise in the large parking lot 200 m below. Please note that if snow is forecast during the night, it is forbidden to park on the side of the road, so that the municipal snowplow can do its job. You will be obliged to park in the large parking lot 200 m below. From the road, access to the chalet is via about twenty steps. During the winter months, the stairs can be cluttered with snow. During your stay, you can use the snow shovels available to clear at your convenience. We will unfortunately not be available to carry out snow removal during your rental period (to be discussed according to availability). Other things to note Starting point for hikes such as the Dent de Vallerette or the famous Dents du Midi tour. Very good restaurant at the Chindonnes inn about 1 hour walk (or possibility to go by car only in summer in 10 min). Restaurant des Cerniers, Brasserie type, just 200 m away (parking des Cerniers). Also 200 m away, the small Telegiettes ski resort with ski lift is free on weekends with cross-country ski circuit depending on snow conditions. Warning: no shops nearby, the nearest are in Monthey. The accommodation is forbidden for animals, but this can be discussed depending on the animal. Indeed, the land is not fenced and we do not want the neighbors to be embarrassed either by their droppings, barking or presence on their land.
