The space We’re delighted to present Westland Shores, an idyllic holiday retreat nestled in the picturesque coastal town of Crail, Scotland. Designed to suit families, corporate travellers and holidaymakers alike, this beautifully presented home provides the perfect base whether you are seeking a peaceful escape or an adventure-filled getaway. Golf enthusiasts will also find themselves within easy reach of some of Scotland’s most renowned courses. Exciting news! Westland Shores now features a newly renovated upstairs shower room with WC, along with a brand new walk-in wardrobe in the master bedroom. Previously, the main bathroom was downstairs with a separate WC upstairs, but we listened to guest feedback and reimagined the layout to create a more practical and enjoyable space. We are excited for you to experience it. The property is thoughtfully designed to accommodate families, corporate guests, golfers and tourists. Dog-friendly amenities and surrounding outdoor space make it ideal for those travelling with pets. Corporate travellers can enjoy a comfortable and convenient stay, while visitors can explore the beauty of the Fife coastline right from the doorstep. Inside, Westland Shores is a haven of comfort and relaxation. Well-appointed rooms, cosy furnishings and modern amenities create a welcoming atmosphere. Stylish prints and vibrant touches highlight the owner’s eye for design, while the mid-century modern theme flows seamlessly throughout the house to offer a true home-from-home experience. Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen, spacious living areas and private garden, perfect for quality time with family and friends. The private driveway provides parking for at least two cars, with additional on-street parking available if required. The home offers three bedrooms: one double, one super-king on the ground floor (which can be arranged as twins upon request), and one small double. Each bedroom is tastefully decorated to ensure a restful night’s sleep. There is a main bathroom downstairs with a walk-in shower, as well as the newly added upstairs shower room with WC. The master bedroom upstairs also benefits from the new walk-in wardrobe, adding an extra touch of luxury. Stay connected and entertained with high-speed broadband and a Smart TV with access to streaming apps, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The well-equipped kitchen caters to all your culinary needs, whether preparing a quick breakfast or a full evening meal. With modern appliances and ample workspace, self-catering is both convenient and enjoyable. The private garden is a true highlight. Secure and spacious, it features comfortable seating and a south-west facing outlook, ideal for soaking up the sun from afternoon into evening. The decking area connects the kitchen to the outdoor space, making al fresco dining effortless. The garden gate opens onto a welcoming community park with a large grass area for families and pets to enjoy, currently developing into a wildflower meadow as part of ongoing improvements. The garage is available for secure storage of golf clubs, bikes and other outdoor equipment. Guests will receive access instructions 24 hours before check-in. We strongly recommend ensuring you can access your digital guide before and during your stay. This guide, sent via text and email prior to arrival, contains all essential information including WiFi details, appliance instructions, heating guidance and helpful tips. It also features a search function so you can quickly find answers to any questions. If you require assistance, please refer to the digital guide in the first instance. Should you still need support, contact us through Airbnb. Our office hours are 9am to 5pm weekdays and 10am to 3pm weekends. Messages outside these hours are monitored at a reduced rate. Crail itself is a charming fishing village steeped in history. Admire colourful cottages, browse artisan shops and galleries, and enjoy welcoming cafés and restaurants. Nearby towns include Anstruther, Pittenweem, St Monans, Elie and St Andrews, all within a short drive. Golfers are truly spoilt for choice. Tee off at the historic Crail Golfing Society or explore nearby courses such as the Old Course at St Andrews, Kingsbarns Golf Links, Fairmont St Andrews, Lundin Golf Club, Scotscraig Golf Club and Elie Golf House Club. Many of these courses have hosted prestigious tournaments and are located within 5 to 20 minutes’ drive. Visit Crail Harbour to experience the village’s maritime heritage and watch local fishermen bringing in their daily catch. Boat trips to the Isle of May National Nature Reserve depart regularly from Anstruther. For the adventurous, the nearby shoreline offers excellent opportunities for sea swimming, and restored tidal pools can be found a short drive away in Cellardyke, Pittenweem and St Monans. Food lovers will enjoy sampling fresh seafood and traditional Scottish dishes in the many cafés, pubs and restaurants across the East Neuk. From relaxed coffee spots to fine dining experiences, there is something for every taste.
