This new luxury-inspired area features breweries, distilleries, local dive bars, 24-hour diners, and award-winning Michelin-star restaurants. Cozy and comfortable with luxurious finishes, the home is designed as a top/bottom duplex, with two top floors as the rental unit. On the main floor is a living room with a sectional and a 55” Roku TV for watching your favorite shows. The fully equipped kitchen features a café table, plus a dining area, an adjacent bedroom with a queen-size adjustable bed, and a full bathroom, complete with towels and bath amenities. Laundry is available in the basement. Upstairs, you’ll find a dedicated workstation, plush sofa, and flat-screen TV, leading into the master bedroom and bath with a double bed. The additional bedroom has twin bunk beds, perfect for slumber parties! The back stairway serves as access to the laundry room and to the yard. During the winter, yard access is not permitted. TAXI & AIRPORT SHUTTLE If Uber or Lyft is not an option try one of these trusted Chicago cab companies: Chicago Checker, 303 Taxi, Flash Cab, Yellow Cab Chicago, or American United Chicago. Go Airport Express provides door-to-door shared ride or exclusive ride service between Chicago's two airports and the Chicago metropolitan area. BUS & TRAIN SCHEDULE The 76 Diversey Bus and the 49 Western Bus both stop at the busy intersection on the south end of the block. Using a navigation app, such as Transit, Citymapper, Moovit, is recommended. PARKING Street parking is free and permits are not required. Should you need it, a portable crib is available for emergencies but the duplex in general is not child-safe. It is recommended to use BabyQuip for additional baby gear. There are no cameras or listening devices in any sleeping areas. One Sonos speaker with Alexa is in the front room and one Echo Dot is in the kitchen. A Minut Noise Monitor monitors for excessive sound levels and the presence of Bluetooth devices (a way to stop large gatherings). Small white cubes in the sleeping areas are internet nodes to provide a strong Wifi signal.
