Set above Palm Beach with wide sea views and native bush surrounds, Island View is a light-filled coastal home designed for relaxed island living. A short walk to the beach, generous indoor spaces, and sun-soaked decks make it an easy choice for families and friends. The space Island View is open, bright, and connected to the outdoors. The main living area flows directly onto a wide deck overlooking Palm Beach, creating an easy rhythm between indoor and outdoor living. It’s a natural spot for morning coffee, shared meals, and evenings watching the light fade across the bay. Inside, the open-plan layout keeps the home feeling social and spacious. The lounge connects easily with the dining area and full kitchen, offering plenty of room to spread out or come together. A wood fire adds warmth in cooler months, while air conditioning keeps the house comfortable through summer. Upstairs, the master bedroom offers a calm retreat with its own bathroom and ocean glimpses. Downstairs, two further bedrooms include a super king that can be split into singles, and a twin room with two trundlers, a flexible setup well suited to families or mixed groups. Three bathrooms make sharing simple, and natural light fills the home throughout the day. Decks wrap around the house, catching sun at different times and framed by native bush. Whether you’re relaxing under the pergola or heading down to the beach, Island View delivers an easy, unhurried Waiheke stay. Early check-in or late check-out may be available for an additional fee and can be confirmed closer to arrival, subject to adjacent bookings. The home is accessed via a path with approximately 45 steps from the parking area. Other things to note This is a self-catered holiday home, not a fully catered stay. We provide a starter supply of essentials such as toilet paper, coffee, tea, and milk to help you settle in on arrival. Once these starter items have been used, guests are responsible for purchasing any additional supplies needed during their stay. For properties with a fireplace, stays between 1 June and 30 September include a starter supply of firewood. Additional firewood can be purchased from local petrol stations, Woolworths, Four Square, and Mitre 10. Beach towels are provided at properties with an available pool or spa. Guests staying at properties without a pool or spa will need to bring their own beach towels. The home sits in an elevated position and is accessed via a path with approximately 45 steps from the parking area. While the views are well worth it, this will not suit guests with limited mobility. Like most Waiheke homes, the property runs on rainwater tanks, so we ask guests to use water thoughtfully during their stay. Minimum stay requirements apply: 7 nights from Christmas to mid-January, 3 nights for the rest of January and holiday weekends, and 2 nights at all other times.
