At the Amasse mill

In the heart of the Loire Valley castles, the Moulin de l'Amasse welcomes you to stay in its barn located opposite, completely renovated. The space Renovated in 2023, the barn is composed on the ground floor of a large living room of 70m2 with fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, a seating area articulated around the stove as well as a laundry room and toilets. Its two wide floor-to-ceiling windows overlook a large wooden deck with barbecue. You can also access through a small bridge the 2 hectare garden shared with the owners. The land is crossed by three arms of rivers and a pond. Upstairs, there are 4 bedrooms each with a double bed 160 (configurable in 2 single beds on request), their private bathroom (2 with a bathtub and 2 with a shower) and their separate toilet. The cottage also has a second floor with three bedrooms each with 2 single beds (two in duplex with two bedrooms on the first floor). Here's the description of the rooms: - Bedroom 1 + 5 (family) with a double bed + on the 2nd floor 2 single beds Private bathroom with 2 basins and bathtub, separate private toilet, reversible air conditioning and blackout electric shutters. - Bedroom 2 with a double bed Private bathroom with 1 sink and shower, separate private toilet, reversible air conditioning and blackout electric shutters. - Bedroom 3 with a double bed Private bathroom with 1 sink and shower, separate private toilet, reversible air conditioning and blackout electric shutters. - Bedroom 4 + 7 (family) with a double bed + on the 2nd floor 2 single beds Private bathroom with 2 basins and bathtub, separate private toilet, reversible air conditioning and blackout electric shutters. - Bedroom 6: pass-through bedroom with 2 single beds between the two mezzanine bedrooms on the 2nd floor. Reversible air-conditioning. Linens are provided (sheets, bath towels, bath mats, towels, etc.). They can be renewed upon request during your stay for an additional 150 euros per change. For coffee, we provide a filter machine, a nespresso machine and a bodum type piston coffee maker. Guest access When we can, we will welcome you upon arrival at the cottage. In case of late arrival, you can access the cottage via a digital lock. A welcome booklet with all the information you need for your stay will be sent to you before your arrival and a paper version will be waiting for you in the cottage. We live in the mill and the cottage is the barn located in front of the mill, renovated in 2023. You can walk in the park and around the pond, enjoy the swing and also cool off in the owners' pool if you wish (from early June to late September) The land is crossed by three branches of rivers and a pond. Access to the watercourse is protected by barriers, once past it, supervision of children is your responsibility. Other things to note Free WIFI on premises. Parking included for 4 cars. Air conditioning in all rooms. A crib, 2 high chairs and a baby changing table are available upon request. BBQ is available on request. Le Leclerc d 'Amboise is located a 5-minute walk from the cottage. It may be possible to arrive a few hours earlier or leave a few hours later if the cottage calendar allows it. The accommodation is cleaned before your arrival and after your departure (included in the cleaning fee of €150). A cleaning service during the stay can be carried out on request: €120 per trip. Two electric bicycles can be made available on request for €35/day/bicycle. To make your stay in our cottage even more enjoyable, we offer extras (breakfast baskets, aperitif baskets, selection of wines or beers, drive shopping, etc.).
