Charming 3 bdr cottage with sauna and deck

A delightful, 3 bedroom cottage that exudes both calm and character, Rose Cottage is set on several levels with gorgeous valley views and sunsets. There are two large double bedrooms, and one single room with two beds. Outside, there's a rambling hillside garden, with terraces, ponds and patios set amongst flower beds and fruit trees. Located a short walk along the side of a wood to the market town of Ledbury, and close to a supermarket, the cottage is also a 10min walk to the train station. The space The house is built on the side of a hill and is on several levels (both inside and out) which flow into each other, providing spaces that are separate, yet connected. You'll enter through the low-ceilinged kitchen, where you'll find the walls lined with storage jars filled with tea, coffee, sugar, nuts and beans (please help yourself), although there's no microwave, you'll find a kettle, dishwasher, air fryer, barista coffee maker, double oven and toaster. Take a few steps up to the cosy snug where you can watch the large screen TV (Netflix, Disney+, NowTV, AmazonPrime all available), or listen to some vinyl. Step out from here to the large deck and sauna. The TV room leads into the living/dining room with its exposed beam, antique dining table, where you can sink into its comfy leather armchairs while you read one of the wide range of books and look out onto the garden, or play one of the many board games in the chest. Upstairs, there are two more levels, connected by a stairwell lined with old beams and modern photography. The first level has a bright double room with views over the valley, and the plant-filled bathroom (with a lovely shower in the tub). The top floor has a bright, double room with king sized bed, and a cosy room with two singles. Bedroom 1: Double bed, views across the valley, west facing Bedroom 2: Kingsized bed, south facing Bedroom 3: Two single beds, north facing Outside, the largely untamed garden is divided into multiple areas, which provide several places to sit or explore: + large wooden deck with covered seating area, patio furniture and firepit + 3 person sauna + gravel patio with sitting steps and pond + wood-chipped pagoda with bathtub pond and rambling roses + terraces with fruit trees and bushes (please help yourself when they're in season) Overall, the feeling is one of quirky character, comfort and calm, rather than stark perfectionism, which we hope will make you feel welcomed and help you relax and spend quality time with your group. Guest access Guests will have access to the whole house and gardens. Other things to note While the the house can just about be accessed by wheelchair, given the sheer number of steps and steepness of the hill, it is not advisable for those with limited mobility. There are no bedrooms accessible without stairs. Please note: There are also several drops in the garden which would be dangerous for young children.
