Resort Life in Historical 7 Bedroom Home!

Beautiful 1920’s Cedar-shake Island lake home with sprawling deck & screened in summer porch. 4 acre wooded island resort, with road access is your year round paradise of boating, fishing, sunning on the floating dock, ice fishing, SUP boarding and vintage paddle boating. Enjoy our huge bonfire ring and hammocks throughout the grounds. We have 4 seasonal cabins also to add onto your reservation! We are a prime spot for your YOGA retreat, CORPORATE brainstorm, LEADERSHIP weekend or WEDDING! The space Guests to The Hideaway at Xanadu Island have the entire house for their use. With three stone fireplaces, Air-Conditioning, ensuite 3/4 bathrooms for all 6 bedrooms, an office, full kitchen and kids toys and games, there is little extra you will need for your enjoyment. Several reading nooks to enjoy and 2 porches to spend time on will be the highlight of your relaxing stay. We once were a bed and breakfast so this beautiful home has an abundance of high thread sheet count linens, plush towels, fluffy pillows and cozy throws for your stay. We even provide beach towels, boats and kayaks in the summer! Guest access The island is accessible by a road, year round. The entire home is accessible to guests. The island has fishing boats, kayaks, canoes and stand up paddle boards with life vests for your use also. A large fire pit with fire wood is also available. In the summer, there are 4 cabins at the resort that are rentable. Our 1,800 square foot, climate-controlled barn event space for your wedding, dinner or retreat is available year round. We have a keyless code-self check-in process and have an employee that lives 1 mile away if you have any need during your stay. We have a 2 night minimum during the low season (September-May) and a 3 night minimum during summer months. Other things to note We have a 1,600 square foot Barn for rent that seats 60 people for your wedding dinner, 30 people for a yoga class or creative retreat. Fully wired audio and visual package, bathroom, wet bar and chandeliers.
