Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space that is just perfect for a rejuvenating retreat in the mountains of WNC tucked away in a quaint community of East Asheville, just 10 minutes from downtown, 8 minutes from the Folk Art Center and access to the historic Blue Ridge Parkway. Unlimited hiking abounds including a 2 mile hike to enter the Mountains to Sea Trail from the guest suite! This exquisite retreat has all that a couple/guest would want to explore and enjoy beautiful Asheville! The space Your experience begins with a private entrance, covered porch and beautiful Mountain View where fall seasonal changes are captivating! Hot tub open and ready just in time to view the leaves while relaxing! Your relaxation doesn't stop there! Enter your newly renovated guest suite through the french doors and take in your oasis. You will quickly see you have everything you need with a well equipped kitchen: sink, stove top range, mini-refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot. Enjoy reheating your leftovers from amazing local restaurants or run by a market and cook a meal in your home away from home! When your day of exploration and adventure is done, you can look forward to retreating to your guest suite which features a lavish bathroom with a CLAWFOOT soaking tub, shower and separate vanities for each guest. Your living area offers a wonderfully inviting sitting space just waiting for you to relax, watch TV, read a book, have a cup of tea or nap! When you are finally ready to retire for the evening, you can do so by curling up in your NEW plush queen size bed flanked by a gas fireplace (available seasonally)! Check out this view…..it might just immerse you deeper into the forest and into relaxation! Guest access The guest suite is a basement studio apartment within our home. You have onsite parking, a separate entrance to the suite, and your own private porch with a Mountain View where fall can be seen and felt! The door to the inside of our home is locked and we ask that you not utilize this unless there is an emergency (see manual). Other things to note There are a few steps after the privacy fence on your short walk to the entrance. The space is well insulated and sound proofed. Our contractor went above and beyond to ensure privacy therefore the ceiling was triple layered and decoupled to minimize the transference of sound. The hot tub is yours privately while staying with us. There is a back driveway that is utilized for our parking near the hot tub. This is a non smoking property, no house parties, and only service animals are permitted at this time. To be clear regarding accommodations: we have one queen size bed and a couch. Due to the size of the suite and the number of beds, this retreat is best enjoyed with no more than two adults. The couch could easily accommodate a "plus one" or perhaps a child for a short stay. Blow up mattress available upon request. A “plus one” must be communicated prior to your stay (unbooked guests and third party bookings are not permitted). More than this number is excessive for our space, recommendations for larger groups can be provided upon request.
