Come in, sit back and relax and let us take care of the rest. The space Our Villa is located within a complex of units, all on ground level. Each unit comes with a single carport. Every area inside the house has been furnished, styled and decorated with intent. We want guests to step across the threshold and immediately feel a sense of calm and relaxation. Blue is the overall theme running throughout the house as a way to pay homage to the coastal location but also because blue is a very calming colour. The first space you walk into upon entering is the living area and here it's all about textures. Take a seat in one of the white Boucle occasional chairs or the deep and super comfy blue 3 seater couch. Pile up the cushions behind your back, put your feet up on the ottoman and put your coffee or wine on the nested tables. A super soft rug, tasseled throw and Rattan floor lamp complete the look. If you're feeling like Netflix and chill is where it's at, the smart TV will have you covered. Next is the dining area which we've kept simple with a round table and 4 comfy padded chairs. A massive canvas of an aerial shot of Scarborough Beach hangs above the table to anchor the space. Opposite the dining area is the work from home space with a bookshelf and integrated desk and drawer. Reposition the shelves to turn it into a stand-up desk! A usb charger and portable lamp have also been provided. Moving into the kitchen, you'll immediately notice the fully automated coffee machine available for you to use. Wake up and make yourself a barista style coffee without even leaving the house. You'll also love the clean lines of the white stone benchtops, the high gloss finish on the cabinets, modern fridge, designer style toaster and kettle, glass stove top and range hood. Now let's move to the Master bedroom. There are several hero pieces here. A beautiful Boucle upholstered Queen bed sits in front of the feature wall which is wallpapered in a pale blue and white striped coral design. From the correct angle, the round mirror that hangs above the bedhead reflects the large canvas of waves washing up on Scarborough Beach. A ceiling fan and aircon will keep you comfortable during the warmer months. The table lamps with their glass base cast beautiful romantic shadows up the wall and for your convenience, we have provided a 6 port usb charger for all your devices. The second bedroom boasts a Hampton style double bunk bed. If you're taking the kids you'll have to come up with a plan to work out who gets to sleep in the top bunk (paper, scissors, rock anyone?). Feel free to take the portable lamp from the WFH desk and use it as a night light for the top bunk. There is plenty of storage with an open wardrobe and tall boy and the bedside lamp also features 2 USB ports. This bedroom also has aircon to keep the room nice and cool. In the bathroom you'll notice the walk in shower and vanity with ample bench space to put all your Toiletries. You'll also find beach towels inside the vanity as well as bath mats. A hairdryer is available in the top drawer. And no need to bring shampoos, body wash and body moisturiser, we've got you covered for that too. A separate Toilet is located at the end of the hallway and you also have the luxury of having a separate laundry with washing machine. You'll also find a beach bag, beach blanket and beach umbrella in the laundry as well as a vacuum cleaner and mop inside the laundry cupboard in case you need it. And finally you have the patio area which is partially covered so you can come outside and relax even if there is a bit of rain about. You'll find a comfortable outdoor setting with bright colourful, cushions to provide a pop of colour. As the garden continues to grow and flourish, it will serve to further promote the sense of relaxation and serenity Guest access Your access includes every space in the house including the carport. Other things to note The Joyce Villa is more than just an Airbnb to us. It is also a space we want to use from time to time with our two small children so we ask that you treat it with respect as you would your own home. Please also respect our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum. There are strictly no parties allowed. One of our neighbours has children that like to play on the main driveway when they are home so please be mindful of this. If you are bringing small children, we have a 3 in 1 Portacot, travel stroller and high chair available for your use. You will find them in the closet in the master bedroom. If you require another Portacot, please let us know and we can deliver a second one to the property. We also have children's tableware in the kitchen and some toys in the linen cupboard.
