The space The accommodation This detached house in historic walls is truly a "pearl" and is located in the heart of a picturesque village with about 180 inhabitants. Here, discerning connoisseurs will find their very own personal residential oasis. Away from any stress and hectic daily routine, you can explore the beauty of the surrounding nature and discover the charming destinations such as the world-famous Rothenburg ob der Tauber, the mystical Keltenwall and the enchanting Tauber Valley (e.g. Weikersheim). The fenced outdoor seating area in the garden behind the house offers you (sight) protected space for beautiful and relaxing hours outdoors - from breakfast in the morning, when otherwise only a few chickens from next door are on their feet, to the quiet hours at noon with a good book, to a glass of wine in the evening. Within walking distance you will find the village shop, bakery and the restaurant "zum Grünen Baum" (open Thurs., Fri. and Sat. / cold food and drinks). Description of the bedrooms: There are 4 bedrooms on a total of 2 levels. Two bedrooms are equipped with beds of size 180x200 cm and two beds of size 160x200 cm. Your sleep is very important to the owners! That's why all the beds are from the Treca Paris brand, which stands for the highest sleeping comfort. All bedrooms are also equipped with a TV. The small "blue" bedroom with en suite bathroom on the ground floor: The small bedroom on the ground floor is equipped with a double bed of size 160x200 cm. The view from the bedroom is towards the inner courtyard and the beautiful old neighbour's garden. In a wardrobe niche you can store your clothes and other things. Adjacent to the bedroom is the spacious bathroom with shower and whirlpool. Here you can relax after a busy day of sightseeing or in the colder months of the year. Connecting the bedroom and living room is a small kitchenette. There you can prepare a cup of tea/coffee or a glass of wine, away from the hustle and bustle of the main kitchen. The room is also equipped with a TV. At the spacious table you can also set up your laptop for working or researching the next excursion destination. The spacious living room with electric stove "Carl" invites you to spend hours of relaxation together. Families with children will find enough space to play there, especially when it is uncomfortable outside. Right next to it is the TV room for those who want a little entertainment but don't want to disturb the others. The large "beige" bedroom with en suite bathroom on the ground floor: The large bedroom on the ground floor is equipped with a double bed of size 180x200 cm. Here, too, we offer the comfort of the TRECA Paris brand. The bedroom faces both courtyards. It is spacious and bright. A beautiful wooden wardrobe offers storage space for all belongings. This bedroom is also adjoined by a spacious shower room. When guests enter the first floor, they look directly into the heart of the kitchen. It is equipped with everything you need and with the highest level of comfort: IB Laursen crockery, WMF/ Zwilling or Blomus cooking utensils. The magnificent view of the neighbouring gardens through the large panorama window makes you forget time and place. 8 guests can easily sit together at the handmade oak dining table. There is also a shower room, a toilet with washbasin and two bedrooms on this level. A very spacious "green" bedroom with a double bed of size 180x200 cm. The view is of the inner courtyard and over the roofs of Finsterlohr. This room also has a large wardrobe as well as a TV. Our small "pink" bedroom just above the hallway. Here, the guest lies down on a 160x200 cm mattress. The cosy room with a view of the idyllic neighbouring garden is equipped with a TV and a small wooden wardrobe. Those who like to do yoga or relax while meditating will find a yoga mat, blocks, meditation mat and cushion in the attic. For the untrained, there are instructions for the first attempts. The large sofa and its seating invite you to take a little breather afterwards. There is also a single bed and a small desk here in case guests want to do a little work. Guest access When booking the whole house, you have access to all areas in the house as well as the inner courtyard. Outside, areas that no longer belong to the rented house are clearly and visibly separated, e.g. by plants. If you would like to be our guest, but the whole house is too big for you, you can also rent certain areas. Just send us a short request! Other things to note House rules/ price info: The holiday property may only be occupied by the previously agreed number of persons. The minimum rental period is 3 nights. To make the start of your holiday as pleasant as possible, our beds are freshly made up in the booked number. Towels can be added. Access to the house is by code. You will receive this 2-3 days before arrival in a check-in process after presenting an identity document of the main tenant. The house is to be left in a tidy condition. This includes the removal of glass bottles & paper. Dishes are to be stored clean and washed in the kitchen cupboards. The dishwasher must be cleared out and turned off. For technical reasons, it is not permitted to charge electric vehicles via the house's power supply. These are not designed for this and fires can occur. Pets: Pets may only be brought along in consultation with the landlord and for a fee, in the number stated in advance. Out of consideration for following guests, dogs are not allowed in the bed, on the sofas or on the armchairs in the house. Dog excrement in the garden and around the holiday home must be collected. We ask you to vacuum once before your departure to remove the animal hair. Should a particularly high cleaning effort arise for the cleaning staff, we must charge for the additional cleaning costs.
