The ART HOUSE

Welcome to The Art House! A warm and inviting retreat nestled amongst raw coastal bush land on the Sunshine Coast. This three-bedroom cottage offers the best of both worlds; vast hinterland space with stunning ocean views. Exhibiting an extensive range of large, original artworks and high-end comforts such as french linen bedding, Gym and Olieve & Olie skincare products, The Art House is the perfect place to pause, breathe and find new inspiration. The space The Art House is a rare and unassuming gem, offering guests the absolute best of the Sunshine Coast. The house itself is positioned amongst stunning bush land, with a small dam next door. It faces North-East so guests can enjoy viewing the Sunrise from the lounge room each morning. There are ample spaces for guests to relax and enjoy time together, including a large grassed area with an in-ground fire pit, perfect for relaxing under the starts each night. A highlight of the house is the spacious living area which runs onto a generous deck showcasing the beauty of the coast. The house itself feels spacious even though it is a cottage, has minimal but tasteful furniture, and inspiring artworks by owner/artist Jess Le Clerc and friends. It's a low maintenance, family-style cottage which is easy to settle into and hard to leave! Guest access The Art House is all yours. However, there is a separate gym that guests will share with the owners, who live in a separate house on the same property. In the unlikely event that hosts and guests use the gym at the same time, whomever has started their workout first gets preference. You also might be lucky enough to meet Benji, the free range, slow-moving resident dog who enjoys a swim in the dam every now and then. Please don't feed Benji but feel free to invite him in for a play and pat! The neighbours dogs also might pay a visit... Charlie & Wilson. Please don't invite them in. They are harmless but can bark a little. Other things to note It's important to note that The Art House is positioned close to a beautiful, fresh water dam (approx 15-20m away). As lovely and picturesque as this is, it is not fenced due to the semi-rural zoning and presents as a potential hazard for children. Due to this The Art House isn't suitable for small children, however if parents / guardians are willing to take full responsibility for the kids for the duration of the stay then a booking may be made.
