Lavish and Cozy Cottage at Last Mountain Lake

Welcome to our cottage in the lake community of Island View, SK, 1 km from Rowans Ravine Provincial Park. Whether it is a sunny summer day or a crisp winter morning, you will feel right at home in the warm décor and surroundings. This cottage has everything you need to settle in and spend time doing the things you love. Take a walk down to the resorts private beach and jump off the floating dock, take your rod and try your luck at a walleye or bring your sleds during the winter! Enjoy! The space The cottage is set comfortably back from the lake (not lakefront) but there is direct access down the back lane to the public reserve beach or it is a short stroll to the resort beach area. The resort beach offers a boat launch, dock, floating dock and beach area as well as a playground, pickleball and basketball courts. There are often events as well, bringing food trucks and special activities. The interior of the cottage is complete with comfortable furnishings and a beautiful stone fireplace. There are smart TV's on each floor so use the free Roku stations or feel free to log into your favorite streaming account. We offer Starlink for WiFi. We offer a large DVD collection and a couple DVD players to enjoy. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to entertain 6 guests. There are 3 bedrooms, each with a pillowtop queen bed (we allow for 6 guests maximum) and two full bathrooms. Step outside and there are 3 furnished outdoor decks to choose from whether you are looking for shade or to bask in the sun. There is a large yard protected by trees and a firepit area with seating for 6. PETS (fee and approval applies at time of booking) We do allow dogs (sorry, no cats) and prefer that they are under 30lbs. We allow a maximum of 2 dogs per booking. Please contact us if you have questions in regard to your pet or if they are over 30lbs. There is a fee for a pet and you must enter pets in the reservation. If you arrive with a pet that was not in the reservation, a payment of $100 will be requested at check in to maintain your reservation. There is one driveway for 4 cars and another for a couple cars or your boat and seadoos. Only the main driveway will be cleared in winter months. Other things to note The cottage water is supplied by a well and not suitable for drinking. Guests should bring drinking water. We have a water cooler so we recommend bringing one or two 5 gallon water jugs that will fit into the cooler during your stay. Please do your best to conserve water. There is no washer or dryer available. There is a seasonal laundromat at the Rowan Ravine Provincial park and year round laundromats in Strasbourg and Silton. In the summers months, nearby Rowans Ravine has a restaurant, mini golf, bike rentals and the marina/marina store. Guests with boats can launch at the Island View Marina or at the Rowans Ravine Marina. Please bring “beach” towels for use outdoors. Only the number of guests confirmed on the booking are allowed. Please inform us of any changes that occur in the number of guests up to a maximum of 6. **Please note, additional guests past the maximum of 6 must be approved and an additional fee may apply. Arriving with more than 6 guests without approval may result in a cancellation of the stay. All dogs MUST be confirmed and approved at the time of booking. Please reach out to us if you did not include a pet on your reservation but think you may be bringing one…prior to arriving. In the summer months, we remove the bed comforters as we find most guests do not use them. They are located in the main floor bedroom closet should you need one.
