What's more special than an overnight stay in the middle of the Brabantse Biesbosch? Our accommodation De Hooge Polder is located in a unique location. Completely unwind yourself in our brand new tiny house with a view over the fields. Treat yourself to some time in the middle of nature. Fun fact! The accommodation is located on the grounds of an organic farmer, along beautiful walking and cycling routes such as the Ooswaardpad. Nature has never been so close! The space The private B&B with a view over the fields is fully equipped. Sit back in the fauteuils and enjoy the view. If you're lucky, you might see a deer hopping by or a kingfisher flying past from behind the window. A comfortable double bed with a TV, a fully equipped bathroom, and a kitchen with a dishwasher. The B&B is located next to the Bakkerskil, grab a canoe and explore nature via the water. There is also free WIFI available. Other things to note Location B&B De Hooge Polder is strategically located close to important highways towards the Randstad area. With a short three-quarter hour drive, you can reach Rotterdam, and Amsterdam is only an hour away. Belgium is also easily accessible. Authentic town centres such as Gorinchem, Woudrichem, and Heusden are just a stone's throw away. Additionally, De Hooge Polder is located near one of the busiest rivers in the Netherlands. At De Hooge Polder, you can park your car for free and electric cars can be charged. Breakfast Would you like a delicious local and organic breakfast? That can be arranged for 10 eu p.p We'll make sure that a lovely breakfast is waiting for you with fresh juice, yoghurt, buns, and eggs. Activities There are hundreds of possibilities for outdoor activities, such as various hiking trails like the Oostwaardpad and bike routes. Check out the Biesbosch Museum or explore the old town centres of Woudrichem and Gorinchem. Look for beavers with a so-called 'whisper boat'. The Efteling amusement park is only a 30-minute drive away. Or go golfing at Golfpark Almkreek. Please note that the nearest supermarket is in Nieuwendijk (Coop, 3.2 km), Werkendam (AH, 5.7 km), or Hank (Jumbo, 8.7 km). Additionally, De Hooge Polder is located near an organic farm. It is super interesting and educational, but please be careful with small children! Don't let them wander around by themselves.
