The cabin also has a love seat twin sofa sleeper and is 5 miles from town. Hope to see you soon 😉 The space We live on 14.7 acres on Highway 8 in Saint James, Missouri. The Cedar Cabin is one of 3 cabins on our property. The other two cabins are occupied most of the year and are in close proximity to the cedar cabin. The lodge, where we live, is just down the lane. You will have easy access as we are right off of highway 8 with a flat, gravel driveway and plenty of room to park a boat trailer or your side-by-side too. The cedar cabin was built by hand by one man and his wife. They used wood to chink between the huge cedar logs along with some caulking. The cabin is 750 sq.ft. give or take. The pride on the inside of this cabin is the cedar countertop in the kitchen area along with the roominess throughout. The uniqueness of this cabin is use of shiplap and flooring for walls and counters etc. Being hand built just like back in the old days, you’ll notice lines that aren’t plum and cracks between logs. We have caulked it since we’ve purchased it and will continue as an ongoing maintenance of this beautiful and uniquely cozy cabin. It’s small enough to know it intimately within seconds and large enough to live in comfortably. A full kitchen and eating area that leads into a sitting room and a bedroom that fits a king size bed nicely along with an old fashion antique chifferobe dresser, plus a large bathroom with a walk in shower and washer/dryer make this cabin desirable for couples, fisherman, hunters, or small families.
