Glamorous back to basics! Other things to note Somewhere hidden on a hill in the Flemish Ardennes is the Glamping of Modest & Kamiel. 2 mischievous farmers welcome you and introduce you to their farm. Unlike other places, this Glamping is one where you can harvest your own fruits and vegetables! The farm has an organic label and works in harmony with nature, an agro-ecological farm. The canvas tents of the Glamping are on a large wooden terrace in an edible garden with vegetables and small fruits. Completely in private, you wake up and drink a coffee on your terrace while you hear the chickens cluck, the pigs grunt and feel the first rays of the sun on your face. In the large vegetable garden with a nice assortment of fresh healthy and organic vegetables and berries, you can harvest daily. Freshly harvested and freshly prepared! That preparation is done in the open air next to the pigsty. With a beautiful view of the hills, you can cook in our outdoor kitchen. Meanwhile, enjoy the chickens that pass you and the pigs that want to meet you. Rest assured, they will stay at a safe distance. Staying at the Glamping of Modest & Kamiel is a total experience for young and old. Time disappears, and you are amazed by the simplicity of nature. The flowering fruit trees, the pigs bathing in the mud and the fields that color with the blooming flowers, provide an unseen experience. Immerse yourself completely in the farm experience and enjoy to the fullest! As real Glamor should be, you don't have to bring anything except clothes and a toothbrush. The 2 double beds in the separate sleeping tents are made upon arrival. A tour of the farm will ensure that you do not get lost. The accommodation includes all use of bed, bath, and kitchen linen, fresh vegetables and small fruits, a furnished outdoor kitchen with everything to cook and eat (pots, pans, cutlery, plates, glasses, etc.). The living tent has a terrace, electricity, a dining area, sitting area with small library and a fridge with mini freezer. There is a comfortable and clean compost toilet, a sink and a shower with hot water and ecological shower gel. The plumbing is next to the pig's sleeping quarters. So you hear them grunting while you're under the hot water. Wonderful, right? There is a cozy farm shop that is open every day for the Glampers. Treat yourself to real artisanal products: pork for the BBQ, charcuterie, jams, pickled vegetables to pimp your salad, fresh eggs and more. In the summer months, there are thousands of flowers in bloom on our field. During the self-picking moments, you can also harvest flowers and make a beautiful bouquet. The Glamping is for a maximum of 4 people and is always rented in its entirety. We prefer to keep it quiet and modest, so we ask that you do not invite extra guests during your stay. Four-legged friends are wonderful, but unfortunately we cannot allow them on the Glamping and on the farm. Let go of your inner farmer and be very welcome with us!
