A beautiful spacious home from home, perfect for those keen to explore this stunning area of France renowned for its gastronomy, history and natural beauty. Excideuil is a peaceful town with shops and restaurants and a lively weekly market. Our 18th century house was previously owned by a hat maker, hence the name. We have renovated it so that it is really comfortable and well equipped, but kept its historic charm including some fabulous 60s styling! All bedrooms are on the 1st floor. The space All the rooms are generous sizes. There is space and seating in the sitting and dining rooms for everyone to spend time together as well as enough space in each bedroom for those who want a little quiet for reading and relaxing. The cot, when required, can be put into whichever bedroom the guests prefer. There are, in total, two showers, one bath and three WCs. All the bedrooms are on the first floor reached by a fairly steep staircase. Guest access The whole house and garden are accessible for your sole use.
