Seraminheiro's House

Located just above the picturesque town of Melides, hailed by Conde Nast Traveler as "the secret Portugese beach spot to know" in 2021, Casa de Seraminheiro offers the perfect rural refuge. Casa de Seraminheiro is a large country house in typical Alentejo style. It consists of two fully equipped houses, sharing the beautiful grounds and the pool. Both houses have their own covered private patio, and an outdoor dining area, with a path leading to the pool area. The space House A (Casa Oleandra) consists of an airy living room with high ceiling (vintage design furniture is arranged around a traditional Alentejo fireplace), a fully equipped kitchen and a dining room. One bedroom, overlooking the grounds, comes with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom. A second bedroom has a view to the pool and offers one double bed. In the hall way connecting the two bedrooms you can find the main bathroom. House B (Casa Litoral )- a typical Portuguese style house: - Living room with high ceiling and a traditional flooring (Portuguese tiles) - Open plan kitchen and dining area - Vintage furniture combined with typically Portuguese furniture - Traditional Alentejo (Portuguese) open fireplace - One bedroom with small ensuite bathroom and a walk-in closet - wooden floor - Second bedroom with 2 single beds (can be put together as one double bed) - wooden floor - Large bathroom with bathtub - 2 covered sitting areas (one facing the pool, one at the entrance) - 1 outdoor dining area (under a pergola) Casa de Seraminheiro has a pool and a garden with Mediterranean plants. Guest access The house is situated in a peaceful neighbourhood, surrounded by pine trees and cork trees. It's not secluded but offers a perfect balance between privacy and community. - 3 minutes drive away from Vermelho (Louboutin's Boutique Hotel) - 2 minutes drive from the rice fields - 5 minutes drive to the stunning Melides beach - 15 minutes drive to Surf beaches in Sines (surf sschool) and 20 minutes drive to Surf beaches in Carvalhal (surf school) Other things to note Because we know that many of our guests would like to bring their beloved pets with them, we are happy to host one dog. Please note our house rule that dogs are not allowed in bed or on the sofa. We charge an additional cleaning fee of 90,00 Euros for bringing a dog. Registration Details 119328/AL
