Old School Fun At Lake Mont Pines Creekside Cabin

Our Creekside cabin is the perfect escape for those looking to relax with some old-school fun. Great for one large family or multiple families. The cabin sits on a beautiful tree-filled lot with Cowell Creek winding through it. Cross the creek and you are standing in the Stanislaus National Forest with miles and miles of beautiful hiking and mountain biking trails. Follow the creek back a quarter mile and you are at Lake Mont Pines. Relax by the fireplace in the living room and watch the snow fall through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Cook up a big pot of soup and pop some popcorn on the wood stove. Chill out in the bar and browse the 300+ vinyl collection (includes rock, jazz, classical, funk, blues). Fun for the kids includes a large collection of games, puzzles, toys, a piano, and costumes. Relax on one of the decks among the 200 ft tall trees while the kids play in the creek, explore the back yard, or put on a play - the backyard includes a stage complete with stage lights for evening performances. The two-story house has 5 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, a family room, rec room, bar, large kitchen, and two fire places. Appliances include a washer and dryer, dishwasher, microwave, double oven, and grill. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and entertaining. The rental includes linens and towels, and free Wi-Fi. A canoe is stored at the lake during summer months. Plus you have full access to the Lake Mont Pines rec center, a private beach with free activities including kayaks, paddle boats, shuffle board, sand toys, beach volleyball, and ping pong tables. Free Lake Mont Pines summer activities include outdoor movie nights, sand castle contests, and arts and crafts. For winter fun we have sleds and snow shoes. The hill out the side door makes for great sledding, as do the fire roads across the creek. Maximum 12 guests, pets ok (with restrictions), no smoking.
