Welcome to a Cardinal's home. We are right in the center of Borgo Pio street inside the ancient Leonine City, now a UNESCO site, commissioned by Pope Pius IV in 1565. Famous artists such as Michelangelo and Raphael, illustrious pilgrims visiting the Eternal City and prelates at the service of the Church, such as the owner of our house, lived and worked on this street for the construction of St. Peter's Basilica, the Apostolic Palaces and the Sistine Chapel. Recently renovated, it maintains the atmosphere and taste of Renaissance Rome with its coffered ceilings, with recovered decorations typical of the time, handmade terracotta floors and a mix of modern and antique furniture for those tourists, demanding and connoisseurs, who are not only looking for a place to go to sleep but a unique experience in a particular place that they themselves take care of and pay attention to. This is how we want to offer our guests accommodation with an exciting and evocative atmosphere, in an oasis of peace and within walking distance of the most attractive places in Rome: in other words, "a vacation within a vacation". The apartment is about 80 square meters with a private courtyard of 30 square meters on the 1st floor of a building dating back to 1500. It consists of a bedroom with a double bed, a large living room with a sofa bed and smart TV, a dining room with an open kitchen equipped with all the accessories and a bathroom with a shower and access to a delightful private internal garden.
