Quiet Country Cottage Overlooking the Lake

This little house, with lots of character, is one of the original homes in Belyeas Cove. We've tried to maintain the "feel" of the era in which it was built and originally occupied, while making some upgrades to keep you comfortable during your stay. Please be aware some of the ceilings and doorways are low. Take a close look at the photos, they accurately depict the smaller rooms size characteristic of its age. The space This house has two main bedrooms (one upstairs and one down), while small, they do have double beds. There is a smaller room off the dining area on the main floor with a single bed, and a second single bed on the main landing of the second floor. The dining area overlooks the lake and if you happen to be sitting at the dining table at sunset, you won't be able to look away! The living room, would have been called parlour. It has glass doors which can be closed. it also has a pull out couch for extra sleeping quarters. Other things to note As mentioned in the description, this house is small, with small rooms, and unfortunately small beds, as it's difficult to fit bigger ones in the house. Please look at the photos so you can get a feel for the layout and ensure the space is suitable for you before booking. Fans are provided, it is not air conditioned, and the upper floor can be quite warm in the summer.
