This non-smoking, non-vape, pet free, three bed, two bath home behind closed gates is surrounded by a creek, horse pastures, a horse barn, sandy hills and sagebrush. A great yard for summer BBQs! Cell phone reception runs a bar or two In the right spot and internet is spotty… you can claim that you’re off the grid! Long term stays (8+days) require weekly housekeeping, $70. The home is surrounded by a yard that is part of your stay. The afternoon shade makes a great spot to BBQ or just kick back. The simple layout makes it user friendly for short term stays. The master is set up with a queen bed, ceiling fan and connected bathroom with tub and shower. There are two guest rooms- one with a full bed and the other with two twin beds (and a roll away in the closet). The guest bath has a walk-in shower. The kitchen is equipped with all basic pots pans, dishes, Insta pot, etc., cupboard space for your own groceries and a full refrigerator and freezer. Reception is spotty, as well as our internet service. It will not run streaming divices! Bring a good book ;) The home is located behind, closed gates at our horse facility and tack shop. Though the horse facility is not open to our guests, if you catch one of us, we would be happy to show you our critters. You are welcome to visit us in the tack shop where the smell of leather greets you at the door and step into a different world! Come warm up by the wood stove in the winter. Whole home and surrounding yard only. We are at the property daily, and aside from our meeting upon arrival, you’re welcome to interact as much or as little as you choose. A straight shot, 7 miles to town less than 2 miles to Warehouse Beach on the Columbia River. Room to park your boat, large camp trailer (no hookups), etc. at our place. Close to Hwy 207, Hwy 730, 10 minutes to I-84, 15 minutes to I-82. Pendleton 30 minutes, Walla Walla 50 minutes, tricities 30 minutes, Boardman 25 minutes, Umatilla 10 minutes, Stanfield 10 minutes, Echo 12 minutes The exterior amenities such as the deck, yard and BBQ will also be available. ATTENTION: Here are a few things to note about our place: 1) All Children must be under 100% adult supervision at ALL times. There is a creek just across the driveway, equipment operating in the barnyard, electric fencing and animals can be unpredictable. 2) 📱 💻 Reception and internet have spotty to no coverage in many places out here. It's part of the terrain. Some guests have no trouble and others are defeated! 3) The exterior acres qre not included in your stay. Please note this is a lively farm with horseback riders hauling in and out, as well as a tack shop in the barn that is open a few days a week. You will see us around the property a lot feeding the herd, riding horses, cleaning, building, etc. We will do our best to stay out of your way, but come see us if you want to chat or meet our animals. We love meeting our guests! 4) You may also encounter our dog, Rooster, that frequents the facility with us. He is a friendly one. 5) Horses and cows are majestic creatures. Please take in their beauty from a far. The barn/pastures/horse facility is not open for visitors without Mickey or Casie being present with you. Some of the young ones have shark-like tendencies :). They are always in the pastures, pens, and stalls and secured. However, on occasion, they have escape artist practices and will do victory laps around the property if they escapes! If you see any free-roaming animals, CALL US IMMEDIATELY. DO NOT APPROACH FREE ROAMING HORSES OR COWS. This is why our guests must open and shut the gate as they pull in and out of the facility. Also, please NEVER feed the horses unapproved treats. Improper nutrition could cause them to colic (very luxurious Vet bill, sometimes an early grave). 6) We are continually building and improving structures, landscaping, etc. Please expect to see construction material. 7) This home is just a couple of miles to Sand Station and Warehouse beach, horseback and hiking trails overlooking the Columbia river, boat launches above and below McNary dam, Hat Rock park, Big River golf course and 7 miles from town. 8) Guests staying over 8 nights will have a house keeper added to your stay. The fee is $70 per cleaning. This is not the same housekeeping fee that is collected from AirBnB for the cleaning at the end of your stay. We will fix you up with clean sheets, wiped down surfaces, floors, bathrooms and restock paper goods. Since Airbnb is not set up to assess for this service you will see the additional money request for cleaning service through Airbnb prior to each cleaning. If you are not up for this tidy up, we ask that you do not book. 🧹🧻
