Cherished Haus is a completely restored 1890's Italianate home. It was lovingly restored by a very special man, my dad. Newly equipped with high end appliances and finishes, Cherished Haus is a short drive from downtown Honesdale’s Main Street boutiques and eateries, and is convenient to area restaurants, Lake Wallenpaupack, and other local attractions. It is also centrally located to large box stores, supermarkets, and a liquor store, making it easy to pick up the essentials for your stay. The space Welcome to Cherished Haus! Cherished Haus is a fully restored 1890's Italianate home in Honesdale, PA. The home has 4 full apartments, each created with comfort and practicality in mind. Each unit is fully equipped with brand new appliances, a washer/dryer, and upscale finishes to make your stay feel luxurious. You may notice this unit (apartment 2) doesn’t have any reviews since June 2024 and this is because we have had travel doctors stay in this apartment who worked at the local hospital located only 8 minutes away. Their contract recently ended with the hospital making it now available for our air bnb guest. If you have a large group consider booking more than on apartment for a stay all together in one place! The unit also includes a full bathroom, full kitchen with wet bar and high-end appliances, dining table and chairs, two TVs, and wifi, complete with luxury bedding and bath towels. Max occupancy for this apartment is 4 people. There is a $15 additional fee per person after 2 people. If you have a larger group, please refer to our other listings as we could accommodate larger groups with all apartments. Enjoy the outdoors on the unit’s private covered porch with a table and two chairs, or on the property’s shared bluestone patio. On the patio you will find a firepit with 6 rocking chairs, two individual tables, as well as an outdoor couch and loveseat. Ample free parking is available, located right outside your front door. Our property can accommodate several cars and trucks/trailers. During the months of November & December we have a Christmas store where we sell trees, handmade wreaths, and holiday decor, located on the same property as this house. The store is located in a barn about 250 yards from the house & adds to the spirit of the season. The house is always decorated to the 9’s during this time of year especially.
