Milk House Cottage: A tribute to my father and his land. And a dream come true. My father is the oldest member of the village. He used to have many buffalos and cows. At that time my father's house was popular for the milk That’s why I named the place Milk House Cottage. The space Wake up to the sounds of nature. The cottage sits in my father’s garden, facing the padi field and is surrounded by banana and coconut trees. It is the perfect place to getaway, unwind and rest. There is only one cottage so you can be sure of maximum privacy, and if you need, maximum attention. We are close to a national park so there is not much development in the area, instead, more nature and farming. The cottage is simple, clean and comfortable for you to rest well after your wild Sri Lankan adventures. I know how hot it can be so we have a good air conditioner to cool you down. If you require a standing fan, it can be provided. Should you require any meals, my wife will cook for you at a minimal cost. We provide complimentary coffee and tea in your cottage. Guest access There is a private walkway next to the main house that takes you to the cottage. Other things to note I can assist with arranging Udawalawa safari park tours and also other types of nature tours if you like. I can also help with other types of transport arrangements.
