Todi, enchanting woodland retreat with pool

In a pristine but well-kept bucolic environment, between Todi and Orvieto, Olivo is the ideal home for a couple. Very cozy and cool in summer, it extends to the ground floor in one of the most evocative parts of the village: living room with fireplace, double bedroom with bathroom/shower, kitchen that opens onto the private patio, from which you can enjoy the view of beautiful sunsets and views of the Tiber Valley. Beautiful pool shared with all residents, along with the park and paths in the woods. The space The apartment occupies the ground floor of an ancient peasant house and has two independent entrances: from the path under the arch you enter the living room directly, while the pergola patio enters the kitchen. The patio is furnished with a dining table, armchairs and masonry chaise longues, to comfortably appreciate the quiet and the surrounding nature. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook and set up . Gas stove, electric oven, double sink, refrigerator and freezer and a small dishwasher. The dining table with chairs is extendable. For coffee you will find: the classic Italian moka; the Lavazza A Modo Mio espresso machine with a few capsules for the first few days and the French coffee maker (plunger). You will also have a useful thermal bag for your trips. Two steps separate it from the living room, very cozy, very cool in summer and warm in the winter, with a fully functioning fireplace. The window door of the living room opens under the arch and on the beautiful common courtyard, where the centuries-old mulberry tree is located, from which the 'Borgo Antico Gelso' takes its name. This is a space for all residents: in the house you will find two folding armchairs that you can use to enjoy this very pleasant space under the centuries-old mulberry. The master bedroom is equipped with a closet and chest of drawers, where you can store all your things. The en-suite bathroom is complete with shower and shoe cabinets and more. The washing machine (for personal use for the Olivo apartment) is located in an outdoor common storage room. Perfect for a relaxing holiday, to visit the art cities of Umbria and for walks in the wonderful surrounding nature. Guest access The 'Olivo' apartment is part of a refined residential village. The village is accessed from an electrified gate with an intercom connected to the caretaker's house. Upon arrival, guests receive the code to open the gate from the outside and have free shaded parking. When you leave the village, the gate opens automatically. The beautifully manicured gardens are available to all guests like the incredible pool, surrounded by lawns and centuries-old trees that create natural shade. By the pool you can find 3 sun loungers available in the apartment and an outdoor shower. The property offers a children's playground, a tennis court that is not in perfect condition, and a fairytale forest for shaded walks. All common areas are freely accessible to all guests, it is required to follow the condominium rules. Other things to note We are on the edge of the Silent Village Trail, a 90km organized route (on foot or by bike) between smaller and lesser known villages in Umbria. A total immersion, physical and spiritual, in the silence of what is called the green heart of Italy. Practical tips: The nearest grocery store is Conad City in Collelungo 2.5 km away. Home delivery can be arranged for an expense of at least € 50 (Gianfranco) In Collelungo there is also a bar with newspapers (from 9.15/9: 30) A delicious dairy, Azienda Agricola Carlo Giuliani, 3.5 km away. In Morre, 4.5 km away, there is: a pharmacy and another grocery store. In Izzalini, 2.5 km: Forno Profesional and Kairòs Bistrot. In Acqualoreto, at the Circolo Cittadino bar, every night from 6:00 pm international aperitif, especially on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
