Todi, charming retreat in the woods with pool

In an unspoiled but well-kept bucolic environment, between Todi and Orvieto, the Olive Tree is the ideal home for a couple. Very cozy and cool in summer, it extends to the ground floor in one of the most evocative parts of the village: living room with fireplace, double bedroom with bathroom/shower, kitchen that opens onto the private patio, from which you can enjoy the view of beautiful sunsets and views of the Tiber valley. Beautiful swimming pool shared with all residents, along with the park and paths in the woods. The space The apartment occupies the ground floor of an old farmhouse and has two independent entrances: from the path under the arch you can directly access the living room, while from the pergola patio you enter the kitchen. The patio is furnished with a dining table, armchairs and masonry chaise longues, to appreciate the quiet and the surrounding nature in comfort. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook and set the table. Gas hob, electric oven, double sink, refrigerator and freezer and a small dishwasher. The dining table with chairs is extendable. For coffee you will find: the classic Italian moka pot; the Lavazza A Modo Mio espresso machine with a few capsules for the first few days and the French coffee maker (with plunger). You will also have a thermal bag available for your trips. Two steps separate it from the living room, which is very cozy, very cool in summer and warm in winter, with a fully functional fireplace. The French window of the living room opens under the arch and onto the beautiful common courtyard, where the centuries-old mulberry tree is located, from which the 'Borgo Antico Gelso' takes its name. This is a space for the use of all residents: in the house you will find two folding armchairs that you can use to enjoy this pleasant space under the centuries-old mulberry tree. The master bedroom is equipped with a closet and chest of drawers, where you can store all your belongings. The en-suite bathroom is complete with a shower and cabinets for shoes and more. The washing machine (for personal use for the Olivo apartment) is located in a common outdoor storage room. Perfect for a relaxing vacation, to visit the art cities of Umbria and for walks in the wonderful surrounding nature. Guest access The 'Olivo' apartment is part of a refined residential village. The village is accessed by an electrified gate with an intercom connected to the caretaker's house. Upon arrival, guests receive the code to open the gate from the outside and have free shaded parking available. When you leave the village, the gate opens automatically. The beautifully maintained gardens are available to all guests, as is the incredible swimming pool, surrounded by lawns and centuries-old trees that create natural shade. By the pool you will find 3 sunbeds available to the apartment and an outdoor shower. The property offers a children's playground, a tennis court not in perfect condition and a fairytale forest for walks in the shade. All common areas are freely accessible to all guests, and you are required to follow the condominium rules. Other things to note We are located on the edge of the Cammino dei Borghi Silenti, an organized 90km route (on foot or by bike) between smaller and lesser-known villages of Umbria. A total, physical and spiritual immersion in the silence of what is defined as the green heart of Italy. Practical tips: The nearest grocery store is Conad City in Collelungo, 2.5 km away. Home delivery can be arranged for a minimum purchase of €50 (Gianfranco) In Collelungo there is also a bar with newspapers (from 9.15/9:30 a.m.) A delicious dairy, the Azienda Agricola Carlo Giuliani, 3.5 km away. In Morre, 4.5 km away, there are: a pharmacy and another grocery store. In Izzalini, 2.5 km away: Professional bakery and Kairòs Bistrot. In Acqualoreto, at the Circolo Cittadino bar, every evening from 6:00 p.m. there is an international aperitif, especially on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The city of Todi is 11 km away, where in addition to all the services, you will find EMI SUPERSTORE, open every day from 9 am to 8:30 pm and the COOP, open every day from 8:30 am to 8:00 pm, on Sundays only in the morning.
