Church Barn Cottage is situated in a peaceful location, within walking distance of the town centre, where you will find eateries, individual/art shops and supermarkets. There are plenty of local walks which include disused railway lines viaducts, Nine Standards, Wild Boar Fell, Smardale, Brough, Raby & Barnard Castles. Kirkby Stephen is an excellent base for exploring The Eden Valley, Mallerstang, Howgills, Dales and The Lake District. Windermere or Ullswater 45mins, Teesdale or Penrith 30mins The space Ground Floor - Dining Kitchen and downstairs toilet, access to Garage for Storing Bikes, walking gear, and the washer/dryer. First Floor - Small Double bedroom, wardrobe storage on the landing area and Lounge with 2 two seater leather chesterfield sofas, 33 inch TV/DVD with freeview and a good selection of DVDs, sideboard with a selection of games/books, ordnance maps to borrow , the lounge also has lovely views of the fells and Kirkby Hill. Second Floor - Twin bedroom, single twin bedroom with lovely views of the fells and the Nine Standards. Bathroom with Bath and shower. Guest access Guests can use the whole house. Other things to note Church Barn is an all electric property with electric wall heaters, cooking and hot water etc. Please turn off wall heaters when the house is not being occupied and when leaving. Unfortunately, we do not allow pets. Thank you.
