Bedroom 2 has a Super King size bed that can be split into two King singles if required. Let us know your requirements when making your booking. If you prefer to head into the village to the restaurants, cafes or bars a short stroll will have you in the centre of it all. You will be given the access code and details prior to your arrival Other things to note The story of the Black Cottage building The heart of the Black Cottage is an original farmhouse built in the late 1800's. The building was moved from its original site (two paddocks over the back fence) around 1960 and added to the side of the majestic white villa on the neighbouring property. In 1997 Jim (the Neighbour) pulled his then bedroom off the side of his villa, with his tractor, and it sat in a paddock until he got around to chopping it up for kindling. In 2015, when Pete moved in next door, he spied the building, fell in love with it and did the deal with Jim to save it from its dismal destiny. The cottage was moved by crane onto the front of Pete's property and he eagerly invested countless hours ( and sweat and skin) on the renovations, alterations and additions. A stunning shop for his Wine Country Craft products was the result. Eight years later when he sold the business the cottage was transformed, again, into the existing cottage for treasured guests to enjoy.
