Yard work, pool cleaning, important maintenance (that might affect the quality of your stay) etc. may happen at any time. Unfortunately the lawn, grounds, and pool care happens on the servicer’s schedule, not ours, based on their work load and the weather. Therefore, we cannot inform guests ahead of time when these services might occur. PLEASE READ Pool Policy Disclaimer: We understand that enjoying the pool can be a highlight of your stay, even in the cooler winter months. To accommodate this, we offer pool heating upon request. However, during November, December, January, and February, maintaining the pool at a comfortable 86°F can be challenging and energy-intensive due to the colder nights. To cover the increased costs, pool heating is available for an additional fee of $50 per day during these months. The pool is sometimes limited to the 86°F based on outside temperatures and cooler nights. If you’re considering using the heated pool during your stay, we recommend reaching out to us with any questions before booking. PLEASE READ Power Outage Disclaimer: Borrego may occasionally experience power outages caused by San Diego Gas and Electric (SDGE) due to high winds or other factors. In the rare event of a power outage: • If the outage lasts more than 4 hours during the day, you will receive a 25% refund for that day. • If the outage lasts more than 8 hours during the day, you will receive a 50% refund for that day.
