Welcome to my campervan! With this, you can get close to the nature experiences in the island group. The roof tent offers unique accommodation experiences wherever you wish, and where there is a drivable road and opportunities to park it. In winter (October/November - March) the roof tent is taken down and the roof box/ski rack is mounted, to adapt for winter experiences. The car takes up little space and is suitable for narrow roads in Lofoten. The roof tent was purchased in April 2023 and the car is a 2021 model. The space The camper is suitable for up to 2 people, or for a small family of 3. Here you can switch between accommodation on the roof in the midnight sun and inside the car on stormy days. From November to March, a roof box is mounted to place winter equipment, as well as a ski rack with space for two wide skis. The camper is functionally furnished with a double bed (122 x 189 cm), which can quickly be converted into a seating area, a pull-out kitchen with gas appliance and a cooler. The furniture is pleasant and made of durable high-quality arctic birch. This is a professionally decorated camper van with many small details, top equipment level and practical solutions to provide the best camping experience. The camper is well insulated, has diesel heat and is well suited for use also in winter. The roof tent is of excellent quality; iKamper Skycamp Mini 2.0 (130 x 210 cm). Including the door opening, the roof tent has 4 windows (with mosquito nets for all openings), including one skylight where you can view the night sky - and perhaps the northern lights. The tent can withstand a wind force up to approx. 17 m/s. In case of stronger winds, you should choose to stay in the car. The car: Peugeot Partner 2021 model Front wheel drive Manual transmission Winter tires, stud-free The car is equipped with the following: Sheets (which can be used both in the car and in the roof tent), two camping chairs + one stool (which can be turned into a table), also has a stool if there are three tenants, gas cooker (incl. gas box), two tables that can be folded out in the back, gas alarm, diesel heater, frying pan, casseroles, coffee kettle, cutting board, + various other equipment (plates, cutlery, cups, spices, cooking oil, matches, dishwasher, dishwasher, paper, bread knife, hiking knife, multi-tool (see picture). Duvets/pillows with bed sets can be rented for NOK 250 per set - optionally sleeping bags/sheet bags if desired. There are two sockets (220V), one 12 volt socket and six USB sockets in the living area. There is about 15 cm of storage space on the side of the roof tent - for example, for fishing rods. It comes with an outdoor shower that holds 20 liters, which is hung up and heated by the sun. There is Bluetooth and WiFi in the car. 200 km per day is included in the rent. If you drive more, you will be charged NOK 3.5 per kilometer. Lofoten is beautiful, but remember that there are cars behind... Drive out to the parking lots and enjoy :) Guest access The car is delivered with a full tank (diesel), and is returned with a full tank. Unless otherwise agreed, the car is delivered with a full water tank at the rear. The car is returned with an empty gray water tank. Other things to note Please let me know if you are taking the ferry. Payment is made automatically when you board the ferry. An invoice is sent to me, so we settle up when you check out. The same applies if you drive through toll stations (there are few of these in Lofoten and Vesterålen - more in Harstad, Narvik and Bodø area). INSURANCE: Full coverage. The insurance only covers persons over 23 years of age. Therefore, this is also the age limit for renting the camper van. The deductible on the insurance is NOK 2000, if material damage occurs during the rental period. Show your driver's license at check-out. Car recovery: If you get an engine stop, it is included in the insurance.
