Kick back and relax spotting seals, eagles and grey whales passing through the Saratoga Passage. Spend your days playing in the water with kayaks and paddle boards. Enjoy private beach access right in the backyard and at low tide you have miles of sandy beach to explore between your toes. Come and create wonderful memories! The space **This house is newly remodeled, located in Langley City. You'll love the quiet, master suite with its own private balcony, comfy space and stars at night. With this prime beach location, you’ll have fun spotting the occasional orcas, grey whales, seals and sea lions, plus you’ll definitely enjoy the eagles soaring overhead. **The house has two bedrooms. The master suite has a queen bed and a pull-out sofa bed, and the second bedroom has a queen bed. Also, living room sofa can be converted into a queen bed. ** Additional $30/night for the 5th person, it will be added in the total. **The house features a well-equipped kitchen with electric range with convection oven, stainless steel refrigerator, dish washer, built-in convection microwave, washer/dryer, Smart TV, internet access, BBQ on the deck, full length deck on the side and back of the house. Additional amenities: Air Fryer, waffle maker, rice cooker, instant pot, toasters, electric kettle, magic bullet, Cuisinart 14 cup coffeemaker and Keurig coffee machine. Complimentary K-Cup coffee pods. General cooking seasoning (salt, pepper, cooking oil, sugar, creamer, seasoning rack, etc.) **You’ll be tempted to fish from the backyard or just sit in your comfy outdoor furniture chairs to take in the amazing mountain and water views or enjoy a nap in the waterfront egg swing chair. If you are in the mood for an excursion, there are miles of beautiful trails, beaches and charming towns to explore. **In Spring and Summer, there is an egg swing chair available to sit and relax, an outdoor furniture set with propane fire pit table, and two outdoor reclining chaises for sunbathing. **Kayaks and paddle boards are available to use (May - September only) but all guests must sign a waiver form prior to your stay. Life jackets are provided, and guests are welcome to bring your own life jackets if guests prefer. There are two single seat kayaks and two hardshell paddle boards. **Summer (July 4th - September Labor Day weekend - Thursday through Monday each week. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are closed) is the crabbing season. You don't need a boat to go crabbing, just use the kayak. Bring your own crabbing equipment. Crabbing license is required. Licenses can be purchased at the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife or at a Fred Meyer store. ** Kids are welcome, but this place may not be suitable for children under 12. There is no baby crib. There are staircases to 2nd floor, high balcony from the master bedroom, high deck with rails and a backyard bulkhead wall about 6-8 feet high from the beach ground level. Guest access **There are 11 steps of concrete stairs to walk down to the beach in the back of the house. **There is a propane fire pit table on the patio, where you can sit on the rattan sofa/chairs to enjoy the evening stars. **Guests can access the entire house and the outdoor space including both sides of the house, back deck, backyard and your private beach. **Guests can park 1 car on the left side of the house (facing the street driveway), or guests can also park 2 cars at the parking lot across from the house. It is our property. **Please do not park cars on the gravel field (in front of the house on the right side, facing the street driveway) because that is a drain field, and we need to protect the system. **The locked cabinets are not accessible for guests. **There are some board games available. They are under the coffee table and inside lift top coffee table. ** There are Cornhole board game, giant Jenga, Croquet set, and badminton set to play in outside. They are stored in the grey storage shed. **The house offers basic Comcast channels, a Smart TV to streamline channels and access other Apps (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, YouTube, etc.) to stream shows and movies. **There is a propane BBQ grill and a propane tank available for your use. We cannot always guarantee that the tank is full because it is too difficult to decipher whether the tank is full or not for each stay. There are gas stations in Freeland and Bay View that can refill the tank if it's low. Other things to note KAYAK AND PADDLE BOARD WAIVER FOR ADULT In consideration of Sunset Beachfront Getaway LLC, its agents, owners, and all other persons or entities acting in any capacity on its behalf (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Sunset Beachfront Getaway LLC”) the participant named below agree: Kayak and Paddle Board Use Rules: 1. Kayaking and paddle boarding is done at your own risk, Sunset Beachfront Getaway LLC is not responsible for personal injury, death or loss of property. 2. Person kayaking and paddle boarding must be 18 years or older. 3. Under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. 4. Maximum weight as per kayak and paddle board manufacture’s specifications. 5. A personal flotation device is required to be worn while kayaking and paddle boarding, and is supplied in the storage room. 6. All individuals using kayaks must know how to swim or must be wearing a Personal Floatation Device (PFD). 7. Alcoholic beverages and pets are prohibited. 8. Intentional capsizing or swamping of kayaks and paddle boards is prohibited. Swimming is not allowed. 9. No motors may be attached to kayaks and paddle boards. 10. Do not kayak and paddle board on the water in the event of thunder or lightning, high wind or wave action. 11. If your Kayak and Paddle board capsizes it will continue to float. Hold on to it as you make your way to shore. 12. Renter/Guest will be required to reimburse Sunset Beachfront Getaway LLC for all damaged and or lost equipment. 13. In case of emergency call 911. I am responsible for the return of these equipment in the same state in which I received it. I agree to pay in full for any repairs or replacement if the equipment is damaged or lost. I further agree to make every reasonable effort to return all equipment to the Sunset Beachfront Getaway LLC property storage where it was retrieved. Should Sunset Beachfront Getaway LLC be required to incur attorney's fees and costs to enforce this agreement, I agree to indemnify and hold them harmless for all such fees and costs. I certify I have no medical or physical condition which could interfere with my safety while participating in kayaking, or I am willing to assume, and bear the costs of, all risks that may be created, directly or indirectly, by any such condition. I understand that certain skills, abilities, and physical and mental health, and fitness are required in order to reduce the dangers involved in water activities, and I certify that I possess these skills. I AM AWARE THAT KAYAKING AND PADDLE BOARDING IS A DANGEROUS SPORT AND I AM AWARE OF THE DANGERS OF KAYAKING AND PADDLE BOARDING. I UNDERSTAND THAT SUNRISE SANDY BEACHFRONT LLC IS IN NO WAY RESPONSIBLE FOR MY SAFETY OR THE SAFETY OF THE EQUIPMENT I AM USING. ********************************************************************************** KAYAK AND PADDLE BOARD WAIVER FOR MINOR For Participants Under the Age of 18 and/or Participants with Legal Guardianship In consideration of the Sunset Beachfront Getaway LLC, its agents, owners, and all other persons or entities acting in any capacity on its behalf (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Sunset Beachfront Getaway LLC”) the legal guardian(s) of the participant named below agree: The parent(s) and/or legal guardian(s) will instruct the participant that prior to participating in kayaking and paddle boarding, he or she should inspect equipment to be used, and if he or she believes anything is unsafe, the participant should immediately advise the officials of such condition and refuse to participate. The parent(s) and/or legal guardian(s) understand and acknowledge that there are risks of personal injury, death, and property damage while participating kayaking and paddle boarding. Some risks are inherent in kayaking and paddle boarding, even in still water; other risks are posed by the forces of the currents, swells, and waves in the Puget Sound; other risks are inherent in outdoor activities, or water sports generally; still other risks may arise from conditions, situations, or activities of which I am presently unaware. All water activities are dangerous activities. Further, dangers may present themselves during use. The parent(s) and/or legal guardian(s) expressly agree and promise to accept and assume all of the risks existing in these activities, both known and unknown, whether caused or alleged to be caused by the ordinary (but not gross) negligent acts or omissions of Sunset Beachfront Getaway LLC. The parent(s) and/or legal guardian(s) hereby voluntarily release, forever discharge, and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sunset Beachfront Getaway LLC from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action, which are in any way connected with the participation in these activities or participants use of Sunset Beachfront Getaway LLC’s equipment, including any such claims which I have or may have that allege ordinary negligent acts or omissions of Sunset Beachfront Getaway LLC. Should Sunset Beachfront Getaway LLC be required to incur attorney's fees and costs to enforce this agreement, I agree to indemnify and hold them harmless for all such fees and costs. I certify that the participant has no medical or physical condition which could interfere with their safety while participating in kayaking and paddle boarding, or else they are willing to assume, and bear the costs of, all risks that may be created, directly or indirectly, by any such condition. I understand that certain skills, abilities, and physical and mental health, and fitness are required in order to reduce the dangers involved in water activities, and I certify that the participant possess these skills. I agree the participant will wear a properly fastened personal floatation device at all times while in the water, and to use such safety equipment as provided to me by Sunset Beachfront Getaway LLC. I understand and agree that should emergency rescue evacuation become necessary, the expenses are my sole responsibility and not that of Sunset Beachfront Getaway LLC.
