This home is one block from Winton Rd, where you’ll find a wide array of restaurants, bars, shops, and even a public library, all just a 5 minute walk. We've taken care to equip this unit with everything you should need. However, should any issues arise, my partner and I live in other half the duplex and can readily assist you. The space You'll enter the home through your private front porch, walking into the main living space. Here you'll find a comfortable entryway to leave coats and shoes, 4 beautiful large windows, a cozy sitting area, and a dedicated workspace. Pass through the open archway into the sunny kitchen, equipped with a bright breakfast nook, plenty of seating, coffee, tea, salt, olive oil, and everything else you might need to cook during your stay. The west wing of this one-bedroom apartment contains the bathroom, hallway, and of course the bedroom. Clean and empty dresser and large closet for storing your clothes and luggage during your stay. Medium-firm queen size bed complete with crisp white linens, fluffy duvet, extra blankets, and both soft and firm pillows. The two large windows in the bedroom are dressed with sheers for privacy as well as blackout curtains for a good night's rest. Guest access You'll get a unique-to-you code that is valid for the days of your visit which you can use to check yourself in and out as you please. Other things to note Control your own heat in this unit with a simple thermostat. No central AC. However, in the warmer months we provide a window AC unit for the bedroom as well as window fans throughout the apartment. The living room is also equipped with a ceiling fan. Because this apartment is located in the front/lower half of a 2-family city home, you can expect to hear some cars passing by on the street outside, as well as footsteps, creaking, or muffled music or conversation from the other unit during the day. This level of noise is typical for city apartment living and isn't a problem for most guests.
