The Lake House is an adult oriented bed & breakfast providing guests a unique break from the hustle of modern living and the opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of pristine Dutch Lake. Relax lakeside watching the loons, ducks, swans, painted turtles, and other wildfowl that frequent the lake. Take our canoes & kayaks out for a paddle or enjoy swimming off our wharf in the warm spring fed lake. Plus, Wells Gray Park, famous for its waterfalls is just minutes away. The space We offer 3 deluxe, king bed suites for 2 people each, in a lakeside, hand-crafted log house. Each suite has a direct view of Dutch Lake from your bedroom and/or your private patio. Your own 3 piece bathroom contains a large tiled shower with a rain spray head as well as a handheld spray wand. Guest access We are not far off Highway 5 so access is very easy and parking is not an issue. We are less than 2 minutes from the main grocery store by car, or a 10-15 minute walk. And only a quick boat ride across the lake to the most scenic restaurant in the area. Other things to note Our kayaks, canoes and stand up paddle boards are free for guests to use on Dutch Lake, the included lifejackets are mandatory. Breakfast is served daily on your private patio. We have a friendly dog named Haka who generally plays by himself, but is very curious sometimes, so please keep your patio door closed if you are not nearby.
