Summer at the cabin is idyllic. Enjoy a swim off the dock in the spring fed lake. Picnic outdoors or go for a hike. Take the canoe for a silent paddle and have a small campfire in the pit.Fall is when our region really shines. Cooler weather and vivid leaves are spectacular. Peace and quiet are yours in our tiny cabin perched on the edge of our private lake. The cabin is heated with a propane fireplace if required .Winter activities usually begin in January. The space Main floor is one room including a kitchenette, dining and sitting area. Up the loft stairs is the sleeping area overlooking the main level. One Queen bed and 2 stacked twin beds. Good for a maximum of 3 adults or 2 adults and up to 2 children. Not compatible for very young children (under 4). Out the front door is a comfortable covered deck facing the lake. Glass railing completes the deck assuring an unobstructed view of the lake and huge pines surrounding the cabin. The outhouse and outdoor shower are a few steps out the back door. Guest access The parking area is approximately 1/2 km from the cabin. We offer a service to transport guests and gear in our side-by-side, at no charge. To and from your parked vehicle. Other things to note Arrangements need to be made with the host to meet on the road at arrival. We will guide you on the unmaintained logging road to our parking area. The logging road is bumpy and there is a very small creek to drive through. See the pictures on the listing. Although it’s not dangerous, We strongly recommend a vehicle that has good ground clearance such as a Jeep, SUV, or truck. We offer assistance with our “side-by-side- vehicle” from the parking area to the cabin to transport guests and supplies. It’s about 1/2 km or a 5-10 minute walk.
