Old village school: a family idyll in the Spreewald

This former village school from 1880 was fundamentally lovingly renovated in 2022. It offers all modern comforts while preserving the building's original charm. Guests enjoy the individual and high-quality furnishings, as well as the beautiful garden with old fruit trees on the edge of a nature reserve. The house, with its many toys and children's books, and the surrounding areas (especially the swimming lake) are especially suitable for a relaxing family vacation! The space The heart of the house is the former school room, which has been converted into a large kitchen-living room, and offers space for time cooking, chatting and playing together. If you want a little more peace and quiet, you will enjoy the library with high ceilings, exposed beams, large selection of books and a view of the garden with its old fruit tree stock. Children will be busy with a wide selection of toys (Lego, dollhouse, Playmobil) as well as an entire library of children's books. When the weather is nice, they can play in the fenced garden (also toys for outside) or in the playground directly opposite. In the summer months, Lake Mochow, which is only 600 meters from the house in the forest, invites you to swim and play in the sand. The house is located at the edge of a nature reserve, where there are many hiking trails to discover. The area can also be explored by bike: we offer a bike rental (adult and children's bikes available). After an eventful day in the Spreewald, enjoy a glass of wine by the fire bowl on the terrace. Alternatively, you can also spend a cozy evening in the TV room on the comfortable couch.
