Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located quaint home. We are just minutes from West Texas A&M University, if your in town visiting your favorite Buff. We are 15 minutes away from exploring one of Texas' treasures, The Palo Duro Canyon, and a short 10 minutes on the interstate from Amarillo. The space This a 2 bedroom and 1 bath home. The master bedroom is equipped with a king size bed with a newly updated mattress and memory foam padding, full size closet, and TV and is located just off the living room. The 2nd bedroom is equipped with a queen size bed with a newly updated mattress with memory foam padding, a twin daybed, pull-out twin bed, and light up cosmetic mirror and a brand new Roku TV. There is a privacy screen that can be placed between the queen bed and the daybed. Please note there are no doors on this room, see photos for accessibility from other areas of the home. The living room has a large picture window, 2 couches, and large SMART TV in which you can use your personal streaming services with the home Wifi, local channels are accessible. The kitchen & dining room has all major appliances including a full size stove, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher, & several small appliances, such as a Keurig Coffee maker, crock pot and electric skillet. Groceries are NOT PROVIDED. The dining table typically seats 4 yet, can easily accommodate six. The full size washer and dryer are located in the kitchen/dining area. The bathroom has double sinks with a tub and shower combination. Access to the fenced backyard is out the backdoor located in the kitchen. The backyard has a propane grill and a fire table ready for your enjoyment. Guest access Our guest do not have full access to the inground storm shelter in the backyard as this is a liability for improper use. If a tornadic event is being forecasted for our area and specifically Randall County or the City of Canyon we will make sure the shelter is open if needed and accessible in the event of an emergency. Please note these weather events are rare and mainly take place during the spring and early summer. Other things to note We are not a pet friendly home and do not accept pets of any kind. Violation of this policy will result in immediate cancellation of your reservation and no refund will be issued. The backyard is a work a in progress and may get muddy during rain and snow events. Please bear with us while we make improvements. The driveway for our property is on the east side of the home and there is room for 2 vehicles in the driveway and parking is available in front of the house. Please do not park in front of the neighbors homes as they do not park in front of ours. At this time we are not accepting any stays with pets. The Welcome book has a list of local attractions, restaurants, events and business information for Canyon/Amarillo as well as the few checkout instructions. If you need recommendations, we are long time natives and can provide further help. Check out instructions are in the email provided at check in and one prior to check out. Please Note: ON YOUR DEPARTURE: make sure you check carefully that you have not forgotten anything. Forgotten items can only be shipped via UPS and at your expense. After 30 days we will donate the item to charity!
