Tano: House with private terraces and panoramic views
Description
Welcome to Borghetto di Scicli! Three adjoining yet independent houses located in San Matteo, the most prestigious and tranquil neighborhood in the historic center of Scicli. Balancing classic and modern elements, Elio, Tano, and Tonino have been designed to offer our guests an authentic experience of Sicilian lifestyle from bygone eras without compromising on comfort. Scicli beckons you to slow down, savor life's simple pleasures, and uncover the hidden beauty of a city suspended in time. The space Welcome to Tano, our four-person home. Positioned at the highest point, its terraces offer one of the most exclusive panoramic views of the city, second only to that admired from the San Matteo Cathedral, which is just above. With its 4 sleeping places, it allows an exclusive and comfortable stay for a family or two couples of friends. Each room has its own full bathroom and convenient wardrobe areas to store your clothes. Given its layout, each room enjoys perfect privacy, being completely separated from the central living area. The living room directly connects to the dining room and the custom-made stainless steel open kitchen, crafted by a local artisan. From the kitchen, you can access the terrace, where you can enjoy meals while admiring the view of the illuminated historical center. The second terrace, on the other hand, is directly connected to the master bedroom and also has its own independent entrance. Guest access The houses are independent and remain entirely at the disposal of the guests throughout the duration of their stay. Other things to note Our houses are located just steps away from the main attractions, services, and culinary experiences of the area. Everything is within walking distance, but please keep in mind that due to its elevated position, accessing the house requires climbing a slope or stairs, both upon arrival and during your stay, just like the locals in the neighborhood, including the elderly, do all year round. We do not have private parking; however, at the end of the staircase leading to the entrance of the house, you will find Piazza Dandolo, where you may be lucky enough to find free parking, or in the main squares such as Piazza Italia or near the church of San Bartolomeo, which are about a 5-minute walk from the house.
