Description
**Note this is for a queen room in my house, with exclusive use of your own bathroom. There are 3 friendly dogs on site. ** Welcome to WarraWee - Gorgeous updated home in inner south west. Home to chickens, ducks, fruit trees. 15 min the city or the beach by tram. Excellent public transport and off street parking. Large queen bed. Sandstone fireplace and ducted air. Pouring fresh coffee from local roasters, and breakfast included daily with my jam and eggs (depending on the girls). The space The original house was built in 1949 and was fully renovated in 2021 to include a large extension with Mid Century Modern vibe. The house is spacious, light filled and inviting, and is the perfect base for your work or holiday adventure. Specialising in welcoming new residents to Adelaide! The interiors are decorated with treasures from my travels and vintage hunts, with plenty of space to feel like this is home without compromise. Your bedroom has a massive 3m wide wardrobe for adequate storage, plus working space and fast wifi. Your room and the loungeroom both have smart TVs that you can cast all your channels to, and the TVs themselves are preloaded with the local free streaming channels and Disney. The open plan main living space has a wood fireplace, comfy couches, large smart TV and a turntable for all your vintage vibes. There’s a collection of games and favourite books, plus an ever growing range of DVDs (plenty of kids options too!) for when the streaming services are overwhelming. The adjacent dining space allows you to choose to either use the dedicated table or congregate around the oversized kitchen island. The kitchen is gorgeously finished with curved wood handles, a classic breeze block bench, and of course all the functional amenities such as the stainless fridge, dishwasher, oven and glass electric cooktop. Open up the bifold doors, and you'll discover the convenient european laundry comprising a washing machine and a dryer, which are available for use during your stay. The back deck houses a large table that seats eight and is cooled by a fan in warmer weather. The back garden comprises fruit trees and veggie patches, and you'll see the chickens and ducks going about their business in their run. You'll find the outdoor clothes line around the left side of the house. There's also a small sunny courtyard on the western side of the house where there are more fruit trees and the extra firewood is stored. If you are looking for longer than three weeks which is the present listing setting, please ask. We could be able to work something out! Guest access Guests will have access to the shared living spaces, and have their own private room and bathroom. During your stay I'm available for as much or as little interaction as guests would like. In a past life I worked 15 years in hospitality, and can tell you all the special places for food, wine and other experiences as a native of Adelaide. This city and state really has it all from adventure to relaxation - let me to help you find your perfect mix! Other things to note Did I mention the inbuilt Miele coffee machine? The beans are ever changing but always fresh from local Adelaide roasters. Daily breakfast includes fresh home baked bread, home made jam, eggs from my rescue girls, and a range of cereals.
