Just a few miles from the Birkie North End trail head, this log home is perfect for a weekend getaway or a longer retreat. Bring your family/friends for XC skiing, fat tire, mountain and road biking or just a relaxing weekend on the lake! Located on a peninsula on Lake Owen, you get a lake view from both sides of the home and in every bedroom! Rest and relax in the serenity of the north woods. The space The home has 4 bedrooms each with a queen bed, a bunk room with 6 twin beds, 1 queen bed and two couches, an open office space with a futon and plenty of space for extra air mattresses. One bathroom upstairs by the bunk room and two other bedrooms, one bathroom on the main floor attached to the master bedroom, and one bathroom in the basement attached to the 4th bedroom with a sauna. The kitchen includes a stove, microwave, oven, refrigerator and freezer, and a dishwasher with dishes, silverware, and cooking ware. There is also a full kitchen and bar in the basement. We have WIFI and will provide password upon your arrival. The lake access is behind the house, and there is a trail with a few stone steps down to the water. We have a wooden dock and a metal one where we store our boats. There are kayaks and a paddle board for you to use. Guest access You have the entire house to yourself including our two private docks, backyard, etc. We leave the key to our shared boat landing for you to access if you bring a boat. You can dock your boat at one of our 2 docks overnight.
