The Cottage at Namaste Farms

We recently built our 900 sq. ft 1 bedroom, 1 ½ bath cottage for up to a two (2) guest to stay. This secluded & cozy home is located on our 3 acre property & backs up to a serene view of the woods. We usually have deer that visit, and two 6-year old donkey’s named Fizz & Rizzo who live on our property. If you want to meet them, just let us know! We are happy to share our little Namaste cottage with our guests, and hope you enjoy your stay, as much as we love living here. The space Our new cottage has an incredible large screened-in front porch with pull down privacy roller blinds (we do not have any curtains in the living room, so if you want privacy, those pulldown roller shades should work just fine) we have an outdoor sectional & 65 inch TV on the porch, there is a small back wood deck with a two seated bistro set as well. Namaste Cottage was completed in 2022 - new construction/new appliances. The home has huge view windows throughout, an 85” tv in the living room, two electric reclining chairs, dining table and chairs, games, and puzzles, lots of books and magazines, stackable washer & dryer open floor plan, high ceilings in the living room, gorgeous ceiling fans, stocked coffee station, AC/heat, electric fireplace, beautiful open kitchen with lots of kitchen accessories, Brentwood Home luxury king bed in the master, luxury linens with TV VCR & blackout curtains. Please note: The TV in the living room and the screen porch are smart TVs - the living room 85 inch TV also has a an antenna paddle that can be accessed for local channels. Please also note: that this home is intended for a maximum of two adults and is not set up for children Or other guests. Please inquire about infants. Guest access Namaste cottage has a separate entrance and driveway for parking for our guests. There is a gravel drive and a gravel walkway to the front door. Please note: both the drive up path to our house, and the path up to the front door are done in gravel & the walkway up to the front door can be a little steep for some people. There is a hand-railing, but if you have trouble walking, or have a disability, this could be a challenge for you. Please refer to the pictures and ask any questions before booking with us. Other things to note We do live on land that has a septic system and its own well. We would ask that nothing is flushed down the toilet, other than toilet paper. There are photos of the exterior and the gravel drive up to our house in the photo album attached to this listing - Please view those before you book with us. As well as the gravel walkway up to the house. If you have any questions, please ask. We live on the property (you will see our big White House when you arrive as well) We are definitely respectful when guests are staying with us & limit our noise in the garden or property. We ask that only up to two (2) adults only stay and occupy our little cottage - please let us know if you have an infant. We are sorry, but we are unable to extend the stay to toddlers, children and other guests. We leave out lots of little little extras for our guests, which include : oatmeal packets, energy bars, lots of extra toiletries, our coffee station is fully stocked with pods, creamer, sugar, ground coffee, and tea. We have the basic condiments in the refrigerator and there’s usually other things as well. We have cooking oil, salt, pepper, and those kind of things if you want to make a meal. We have left a big umbrella (on the side of the washing machine) in case it’s raining while you’re visiting There is an ironing board, iron, laundry detergent, and all the things - help yourself! There is a Weather radio in a drawer in the kitchen if you need any weather related information There’s a flashlight on the right hand side of the sink in the cupboard There is a first aid kit in the master bathroom We have a K cup and a drip coffee pot - there are K cups and some regular ground coffee if you’d like a cup of coffee in the morning - we also have some tea. We have a small charcoal barbecue if you would like to use it while you’re here - just ask us for it We do have a basement (safe space) that would be used in case of a tornado - as long as we are home (which, more than likely we would be) we would absolutely have you come over with us
