New STR #STR2425D7182 The space We are 40 minutes from downtown Halifax, 25 minutes to Bayers Lake Shopping district,40 minutes away from Peggys Cove, 40 min from Lunenburg and Mahone Bay. We are 40 min from Martock skiing hill and 20 min from Chester, world famous for Chester Sailing race week. With new exit 5A we are 10 minutes away from Tantallon Shopping area. 5 min to Shoreclub Dance hall and Lobster Supper. Additional Info: Our cottage is on a busy street and backs on to a Cleveland Provincial Park. On summer months the traffic can be busy with some road noise with the master BR facing the street. The rolling waves and the deck with the view outside will calm the senses. The view is beautiful and the walk on the beach to the point, is especially peaceful. Rails to trails for hiking and biking is nearby also. For great fall and winter getaways, we have a cozy wood stove for those cool nights to enjoy. A romantic time with your partner and a bottle of wine. The rental is for the entire cottage, with a large deck and fire pit on the edge by the water. There is a heat pump so you have air conditioning and built in dehumidifier, one of the few properties that offer this convenience. Guest access We are delighted to welcome you to our cottage! Please confirm the exact number of guests in your party prior to your arrival. It’s important to note that our property operates on a septic system and well water. The master bedroom features an ensuite bathroom with a charming old-fashioned tub, as well as an open-concept design that allows for a delightful view of the tub. Additionally, there is a second full bathroom equipped with a shower and laundry facilities. Kindly use the old-fashioned tub at your own risk, as it is not securely attached to the floor; we recommend that taller guests opt for the shower for safety. For your convenience, we live just a few doors down and are readily available to assist you with any needs during your stay. Thank you, and we look forward to making your visit enjoyable! Other things to note We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a pleasant environment by refraining from smoking on the property at all times. Additionally, please be mindful of our septic system; we kindly ask that you do not flush large amounts of toilet paper or feminine products, as this can cause damage. If you wish to bring your furry companion, we welcome dogs but kindly request that you inform us in advance. Please note that there is an additional charge of $100 for bringing a dog.
