Guest access Guests of Casita Choya have full access to the pool between the hours of 6am and 12am Other things to note **Pets** We do not allow bookings with pets. **Transportation** We can rexcomend a local shuttle service which can be arranged to pick you up from the airport and deliver you directly to your home away from home. Please contact us directly for prices and to arrange * this is a private business with no ties to Casita Choya * ** Seasonal Weather Rain and Storms ** For guests staying with us during the months of August, September and early October please be aware that these 2.5 months are the peak of the rain and hurricane season. Storms or heavy rains can result in a loss of electricity, water and wifi all of which are out of our control. We have a back up power generator, power outage comfort kits (rechargeable fan, lights, device charger) and water storage to minimize any disruption to the comfort of your stay and while we will do our absolute best to keep these to inconveniences to a minimum we can not gurantee 100% power during these months or be held responsible for situations outside of our control. ** Rolling Black Outs ** For guests staying with us between the months of July through October please understand that these are the hottest months here and understandably have the largest pull on the CFE infastructure. To lessen the demand on the grid CFE will and without warning resort to rolling black outs across both the municipalities of La Paz and Cabo. These rolling black outs can result in Los Barriles being with out power for an unpredictable amount of time. We have a back up power generator, power outage comfort kits (rechargeable fan, lights, device charger) and water storage to minimize any disruption to comfort of your stay and while we will do our absolute best to keep these inconveniences to a minimum we can not gurantee 100% power during these months or be held responsible for situations which are out of our control. ** Internet ** We subscribe to the areas primary high speed internet provider which allows our guests access to fast and reliable wifi in the casita. You can experience slow downs in the evening and disruption of service do to service provider problems and or weather issues all of which are out of our control. ** TV ** The TV is streaming only and will require you to have a subscription to one or more of the apps to allow you to view the content. For personal security and privacy we do not supply our accounts for guests and reccomend you have logged out of your account before check out. ** Slow Season ** Many restaurants, bars and business will close for the summer month's (slow season) usually beginning around mid July until early to mid October. During this time there will still be many options available and not every business closes at the same time. The last couple of weeks of September into the first week of October usually will present you with the fewest options which also coincides with the peak risk of a hurricane or tropical storm affecting our area. ** Early check-in and Late check-out ** We will do our best to accommodate requests based on availability. Please ensure all requests are made at a minimum 24 hours before your arrival and or departure. Requests made same day will not be accepted.
