Located in the heart of Sedgefield above Obi Studios tattoo and vinyl record shop, Obi-n-B is your comfortable cosy 2 bedroomed apartment great for couples, families and midweek work stays. Clean, spacious and at the heart of the village, Obi-n-B is situated walking distance from all that Sedgefield has to offer. Ideally located between the busy cities of Durham, Stockton, Darlington, Hartlepool and Middlesbrough. Great deals for longer stays up to 6 months (moving home etc) - please enquire. The space Sedgefield is a beautiful market town, full of great restaurants, cafes, fabulous countryside for walking, local race course and hosts a series of events throughout the year including Hardwick Live festival. A family friendly village it is a short drive to the Durham coast line, cities of Newcastle, Durham, Darlington, Middlesbrough and Sunderland, and beautiful countryside of County Durham, Teesside and North Yorkshire. OBI-n-B is a good sized flat with 2 double bedrooms, clean, cosy and well situated in the heart of the village. We welcome short stays as well longer ones so if you're looking for a place for a few weeks or months, perhaps whilst relocating or moving, do please enquire. Within the flat, we have created a lovely relax and chill area - our OBI vinyl record chill out room, a retreat from the daily grind. Equipped with a retro record player, comfy high back chairs, spend some time relaxing with a selection of records from Obi Vinyl downstairs. The large main bedroom consists of lounge area with big comfy sofa, 42 inch TV, king sized bed with memory foam "Nectar" mattress, full length mirror, hanging storage, books and games. Second good sized bedroom with 32 inch TV, DVD player and DVDs and comfortable sturdy adult sized bunk beds with full size single mattresses, and a full size single comfortable for kids or adults and sleeping up to 3 people. Kitchen kitted out with all the essentials you could need, including espresso machine, microwave, full size oven, 4 burner gas hob, large fridge (no freezer) and space for 4 to dine. We also provide the kitchen basics such as cutlery, crockery, pots and pans plus essentials like oil, salt and pepper, tea and coffee are provided. Large family bathroom, including towels for your stay with full size bath and overhead shower. Utility room with washing machine, ironing board and iron. Private outdoor courtyard with seating. Access is through the passageway next to OBI Studios to the private courtyard. Lockbox located next to door into utility then up a flight of stairs to the main flat which is a good size of 75 sq m. On street free parking is abundant just outside - Sedgefield can get busy but you can normally find somewhere with ease. Well behaved pets always welcome and there is no direct access to the street without opening the passageway door so you can let your pets out in safety - but please do respect the space and "pick up". Sedgefield has a fantastic range of pubs and restaurants within walking distance including the 2022 AA Inn of the Year (The Impeccable Pig), Mess Charcuterie wine bar next door, the historic and famous Dun Cow Inn, quirky Pickled Parson, Little Sicily at the Black Lion and Julia and Sofia's Italian Restaurant plus takeaways for Pizza, Chinese and British. Daytime cafes include Aubergine, Mess and No 4. There is a good sized Co-op open from 7am-10pm and well stocked corner shop open every day til late just metres from the door. Guest access The whole apartment will be yours to enjoy, with private access and self check in with a key safe. The apartment is accessible from street level and has a staircase inside to the main rooms. Other things to note The flat is right in the centre of the village surrounded by bars and restaurants, so some noise can be expected, but the entrance is private and the space is all yours. As the flat is above the studio and bordered by a wine bar and Italian Restaurant, you don't have residential neighbours as such so enjoy that music in the chill out space!
