We welcome you here at Anahaw Marine Beach Retreat! Our house is nestled among the trees with a view of the sea. A perfect place to retreat from the busy city, with access to snorkeling and diving spots in marine reserves. The place is inside a 2900 square meter compound, where there are 3 other Airbnb houses. Rest assured that you will have your privacy. Please note that this is a private home-stay and not a hotel. Please clean as you go. The space We are in the midst of trees, please expect butterflies, bees, ants, spiders, geckos and other insects. We have insect traps but we would advise bringing insect repellants, especially if your skin is sensitive to them. Please also do not leave food unattended and uncovered outside or inside the house. The sea in front is home for incredibly diverse marine species, which makes it a good snorkeling and diving spot. It has a rocky shore where you can explore and find seashells, crabs, starfishes, snails, and other marine organisms. So make sure you are prepared to bring your beach shoes for this experience. We can provide life vests (4 adults, 1 child). Visiting during high tide, you will find an approximately 5 meter distance of water from our main gate and a 50 meter distance during low tide. Guest access This is a 2 bedroom beach house: First bedroom: 1 single bed, 1 single STACKABLE bed and a single sofa bed Second bedroom: 1 double bed, 1 single bed , and a 2 seater sofa bed Living room: An additional 3 seater sofa bed Note: 2 additional floor mattresses (upon request) and a folding camping bed. A 3.5 x 8 meter pool and an outdoor shower. A big terrace to relax and spend your coffee breaks with a breathtaking view of the sea. Fully functioning kitchen with: Refrigerator, two burner stove, rice cooker, microwave, air fryer, hot and cold water dispenser with free mineral water, basic kitchen tools, plates, glasses, mugs and cutlery Other things to note You will be assisted by our dependable caretaker, Ate Karen (0935) 098 6087. You can borrow life vests and snorkeling masks from her and inquire for boat rental. HOUSE RULES: Please treat our home like your own. Our home is a strict no smoking/vaping zone, which helps us maintain a fresh environment. Please smoke outside in the designated area, where you will find an ashtray. Keep noise levels down. Karaoke is not allowed. No parties and loud music. No pets allowed. Please turn off aircon, lights, and faucet when not in use. Please observe proper waste disposal. Please take a shower especially if you’re coming from the beach prior swimming in the pool. Please ensure that children are supervised at all times while using the pool. Strictly no food and drinks in the pool area. No glassware is allowed in the pool area to prevent accidents and injuries. Please check your belongings before leaving, we are not responsible for any personal things left behind. We hope these guidelines help you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We usually buy our food from our local grocery in Manila because it is cheaper and more varied. But if you really need to purchase something, we recommend Bauan market. It has a wet market, supermarket and fast food chain. Bauan is about 45 minute drive from our place. Nearby restaurants are: Trattoria Altrove, Amor Laut, and Canto Tiero
