Woodsman Cabin is one of two luxury glamping cabins at Resilient Woodlands Retreat. The cabin is nestled in private woodland next to a wildflower meadow, and is located in the Forest of Dean with easy access to the Wye Valley AONB. The cabin features a covered outside decking area with stunning panoramic views over the River Severn, as well as a large, totally private woodfired hot tub surrounded by woodland. The space Woodsman Cabin has been lovingly crafted to ensure you have everything you need to rest, recuperate and really make the most of your getaway to nature. The cabin has a master bedroom with king size bed and woodland views. The well-equipped kitchen includes a microwave oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer and butler sink as well as pots, pans, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, dishcloths, tea towels and eco washing up liquid. Meals can be enjoyed at the indoor dining table or alfresco on your own private covered deck. The deck has far reaching views over the Severn estuary and is the perfect place to sit back and relax or spot the local wildlife The bathroom includes a shower, sink, large mirror and flushing toilet. Fluffy towels and eco-friendly toiletries are provided. After a day’s exploring, soak under the stars in the large private Kurami wood-fired hot tub. Or get cosy in front of the wood burner and unwind with a glass of wine and a book. The quaint and cosy living area includes a futon sofa that easily converts into a double bed should you need space for up to four guests to sleep. When it comes to venturing out, you’ll find some amazing experiences nearby, including stunning woodland walks right on the doorstep. Further afield lies the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which boasts yet more forest trails and quaint villages to explore. The nearby rivers Wye and Severn offer river walks, fishing and wild swimming. Woodman Cabin is dog friendly, we welcome up to 2 dogs, just be sure to add a dog to the booking. We provide a dog bed, dog towel and bowls and there is an external hose for a rinse after muddy woodland walks. Please note woodsman cabin is accessed via a short (90 meter) walk down hill from the car park.
