Farm House: Eco-farm Retreat at Kaluna Farm

Standing at the heart of Kaluna’s history, the 1850s Farmhouse embodies the timeless charm of Southern homesteads. Lovingly restored and surrounded by gardens, orchards, and shared gathering spaces, it offers a grounding sense of place and connection to the land. This historic home serves as a bridge between the past and the living, breathing farm of today—an inviting space to slow down, gather, and settle into the rhythms of farm life. The space Kaluna is our multifaceted homestead. We are a Morganic farm, meaning we go beyond organic certification standards to manage our whole property. No chemicals have been sprayed in the last twenty years. The owners and stewards transformed this space from a family junkyard back in the mid-90s. The land is a magical realm of creeks and wonderful trees, plants, and old cabins. We like to host workshops and other events along the lines of health and farming. When you arrive, we like to invite our guests to meet our spring, where we get delicious drinking water. We have additional spaces available for stays: Kaluna's Authentic Log Cabin (sleeps up to four guests), Kaluna's Bamboo Roost (sleeps up to four guests), Kaluna's Treehouse Sanctuary (sleeps two guests) and Kaluna’s Wooden Yurt (sleeps up to 8 guests). Guest access There is a fire pit and charcoal grill available for guest use. Guests should plan ahead and bring their own charcoal and firewood. Wood may be available for purchase on-site. Please confirm firewood availability with hosts. Our gardens are open to your exploration, we just ask you to stay on paths and do not walk in our garden beds, the microbes thank you. Other things to note Valentine’s stays (Feb 6–15, 2026) include our seasonal Valentine’s package, already built into the nightly rate. We have additional spaces available for rent: Kaluna's Bamboo Roost (sleeps two couples), Kaluna's Treehouse Sanctuary (sleeps one couple), Kaluna's Farm House (sleeps up to 10 guests) and Kaluna’s Wooden Yurt (sleeps up to 8 guests).
