Today I am pleased to welcome you to our own, very private paradise: Villa 105B! In the relaxing seclusion of Villa 105B, we want to give you one of the most comfortable stays you can imagine. You should not miss anything – except for more time to linger... Villa 105B is a beautiful and secluded retreat on the southwest coast of the country, near Bentota Beach in Western Province. The luxurious 1-acre property is surrounded by a large tropical garden with lawns and coconut palms, frangipani trees and a variety of plants and shrubs – amidst pristine jungle and rice fields. Our exceptional private villa offers all luxurious comforts. The five interconnected buildings are designed in the classic style of famous local architect Geoffrey Bawa. They house 4 guest rooms, each with their own bathroom, a dining pavilion, a leisure pavilion and a palm-roofed hut for yoga or meditation, as well as the refreshing comfort of a 1.5 meter deep and 90 square meter pool. The villa is the perfect place for an extended family holiday or just for two. With a total of four guest rooms with king size beds, the villa can accommodate up to eight guests if you travel with friends. The “Elephant Room” is our most popular bedroom. The spacious loft room with king-size bed, private sofa lounge and private bathroom opens through glass doors on two sides of the room to the garden. You will love the wonderful indoor-outdoor feeling and the stunning view of the pool and the beauty of the garden. The "Lion Room" and the "Tiger Room" are two identical king-size bedrooms connected by a common living room. Both bedrooms have their own laundry area, built-in closets and open-air bathrooms with rain showers under the open sky. The shared living room is furnished with two comfy couches and opens through a sliding glass door to a cozy, tropical courtyard. In front of the rooms there is a covered veranda with lounge seating areas and fountains. The "Monkey Room" is located on the first floor of the guest house and can be reached via stairs. The king-size bedroom with indoor bathroom has two private sun terraces. Through the glass doors and windows of the bedroom you can look into nature and listen to the sound of the jungle in the wind. And sometimes you can hear a monkey scream from afar. All rooms and bedrooms are fully air conditioned and offer additional fans on the ceiling of each room. Several lounge areas, sofas and sun loungers are spread over the property and invite you to relax, spread out or even retreat. The large pool is usually the most popular meeting place on the property. Whether for work or entertainment, our free WiFi is at your disposal. For a trip to the sea, the famous Bentota Beach is just a 15 min ride. The silky, beige sandy beach and the warm ocean waves are wonderful and invite you to walk and swim. We can recommend other outdoor activities and excursions along the nearby coast or inland. By car or tuktuk you can reach the nearest towns of Dharga Town and Aluthgama in less than 10 minutes drive. There you can find all kinds of shops and modern supermarkets, pharmacies, ATMs and souvenir shops. The daily market offers a wide selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, meat and of course fresh fish. Traditionally, our guests are cooked by Nilame, the chef of our villa, who is a true culinary poet. His creations from typical Sri Lankan cuisine and continental dishes are breathtaking and delicious at the same time. We are happy to host you according to your personal preferences – from simple breakfast to half board to full enjoyment of food. All food and drinks are offered at cost without additional service fee. We even harvest the Organic King Coconuts fresh from the palm trees of our own garden and serve them as a traditional soft drink. On request, we are also happy to recommend local restaurants and hotel bars nearby. Full day service: The villa staff will take great care of you at all times. In addition to our chef, our property manager, a roomboy and the gardener are on site every day and take care of your well-being. Our two German shepherds Lilly and Timmy are loving, playful and the best company. At night, one of our employees always stays on the premises as a night watchman Our employees have their own Staff House. So you are well taken care of, yet undisturbed and have complete privacy. The staff house contains the kitchen, storage and laundry rooms of the villa. Treatment Room: The villa has its own massage room. Ayurveda massages and physical applications can be arranged by local therapists and are available on request. Free parking: We offer secure free parking on the premises for up to two cars. We can arrange a chauffeur service with a local driver by car or tuk tuk at any time.
