The Roundhouses

Welcome to our whimsical world of roundhouses! Nestled amidst the rolling hills and breathtaking valley views, our circular abodes are the epitome of eco-friendly luxury. Our unique strawbale dwellings on an organic farm offer sustainable living and as a bonus, they're downright charming! From cozy interiors to underfloor heating that'll keep your toes toasty, every detail has been carefully designed to make your stay unforgettable. And let's not forget our adorable herd of miniature goats! The space The roundhouses are round buildings, made with natural materials including strawbale, timbers, and lime render to ensure they are truly environmentally sustainable. The roundhouse has high quality wooden furniture including King sized bed and luxury soft furnishings from Liberty of London, Studio G, and Canningvale. Architecturally designed, the roundhouses achieved an exceptional energy rating, and just to make your mornings a little bit nicer, both houses have underfloor heating, so no cold feet in the mornings. You can sit in bed, operate the remote controlled electric blinds and watch the morning sunrise. In the evenings, unwind with a glass of wine in front of the cute little log burner for toasty warm winters. Dine on your large private deck, with expansive valley views. There is a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, espresso machine, outdoor BBQ and dining area with roll down weather blinds. We have recently installed a luxurious bath on the deck so you can soak away all your worries while enjoying the magical views and peaceful surroundings. Guest access There are two Roundhouses on site, Bear and Otter. Otter is currently occupied. You will have full private access to Bear Roundhouse with your own deck. There is also a fully equipped laundry room with washing machine, eco clothes dryer and iron. Other things to note We have a herd of Australian Miniature goats which are very friendly and love to interact with guests. You are free to feed them through the fence but if you want have an up close experience just let me know and we can organise it. A Tesla EV charger with a type 2 plug is also available for guests to use. Registration Details DA-221/2016/A
